  1. Nice looking Starliner (got to love the space-age names of the cars back then). I kind of like how the yellow changes shade with the lighting.
  2. Really nice. I like your details. Where was this "exported" too?
  3. Great weathering, and really nice details.
  4. Great looking Mercury. Well done.
  5. Thanks, Carl.
  6. Sharp looking Mustang.
  7. Well done! Did you have any issue with the windshield frame? Mine was pretty mangled.
  8. Mice looking Pinto. My Dad had a Pinto wagon that he used for his farrier service.
  9. Thanks, Rusty. And that, my friend, is why I'm calling this is a street rod. I read once that street rods are designed to get you there in style; hot rods are designed to get you there in one piece. Rat rod? No idea!
  10. Thanks, Larry.
  11. Thanks, guys.
  12. Standard Time would probably be better that permanent Daylight Savings Time. It's mostly just political shenanigans, anyway. Remember several years ago when some politician decided that adjusting the time change a couple of weeks would be a good idea? Yeah, brilliant! As soon as it went into effect, all of the timers that were set to automatically switch from Standard to Daylight & back were all out of whack! Which meant that you had to get new timers, or have your lights or HVAC off by two weeks until they caught up with reality. Now they want to do it again? Sometimes I think these people just want to get their names in the history books. Don't they have better things to do? I guess "law makers" have to justify their jobs by making laws.
  13. Thanks, Bob.
  14. Never knew there was a stock Vega out there. I thought all the Vega kits were drag cars.
  15. Thanks, David.
  16. Thanks, Rich. Yes, that is a common problem with this kit. I had this problem as well, contacted Revell about the problem, and promptly received the windshield. Guess something was lost in the translation. Contacted them again, and received the windshield frame yesterday. The new frame was nice & straight, so either I was lucky or Revell has figured out the problem.
  17. Thanks, guys. I appreciate the positive comments. Russell, I didn't realize that Arizona only requires a rear plate. That's an easy fix as it's only attached with white glue. ?
  18. Nice looking surf wagon.
  19. Thanks, Mario. Yes, it is a really nice little kit.
  20. Thanks. Thought about wiring it, but decided against it.
  21. Great looking Chevelle! Well done.
  22. With all the chatter about how nice this kit was: I figured I'd try one for myself. And I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The kit went together quite nicely, with one exception. Street rods & hot rods really aren't my thing, but I figured I'd "expand my horizons", and give one a try. It is box stock, with a couple of minor details. My build was inspired by Chris' build over on hpiguy's Workshop: My build was actually "finished" on January 23, 2022; but I just received the replacement windshield frame from Revell today. Coca-Cola plate from the AMT 1977 Coca-Cola Ford van, and the Arizona plate is from the Revell of Germany Kenworth W900 Wood grain on the dash is from the bed decal from (I think) the Revell 1937 Ford Delivery van or the Revell 1941 Chevrolet pickup Radiator hoses are solder as the carbureted engine isn't designed for the stock frame & body All in all, I'm pleased with the results.
  23. Nice looking plow. Well done.
