  1. Those loom fantastic! Those old steam powered machines had so much character.
  2. Nice progress so far. I like your Green Leaker, and the red frame is nice.
  3. Very nice looking Bel-Air. Well done. The colors are perfect, and I like the white walls.

That's really nice! It'll get you to the beach quickly & in style, or at least until you get stuck in Southern California traffic! I like the additions you put in the back.
  5. Thanks, Gerald.
  6. Fantastic looking K100. Those scratch built parts are top notch.
  7. Thanks, Gareth. Those Best Model Car Parts dash gauges really make it a lot easier, and the red stripes on the lower panels are actually the kit decals.
  8. Thanks, Carl.
  9. I'd like a couple of S-series trucks, at a reasonable price. That would be great.
  10. Good score. Yes, it does. You can build it as either a dump truck (with or without plow) or a tractor. It really needs a wing plow, though.
  11. That's one big hippie van! Tell your friend well done.
  12. Thanks, Larry.
  13. ? And a police officer figure for the bike would be nice.
  14. Thanks, David. I really like Best Model car Parts for dash gauges.
  15. Thanks, Eric.
  16. Thanks, guys. Lee, I wondered why I had two wiper motors.
  17. I put the finishing touches on this last night. Body color is Testors Extreme Lacquer Bronze, with Tamiya Flat Back hood stripes, and Tamiya Gloss Black lower panels. Interior color is Tamiya Flat Sand with a gloss coat on the seats. Gauges & radio face are from Best Model Car Parts. I tried to "woodgrain" the door panels & console, but I think the paint dried too quickly before i could do a lot of blending. It looks ok, but a little light. I did add a rearview mirror from the parts box (thanks tbill) as one was not included in the kit, the 1969 California plates are from the Revell 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS kit, and the Ploy-Glass GT tires were also from tbill. Seemed appropriate. A point of contention that I have, and maybe this is just me, but the model on the box clearly shows a driver's side door mirror; however, one is not included in the kit. Seriously! It is missing the horn from the engine bay. I don't know if I never had it, or I tossed it by accident, or what; but I'm not that concerned about it. What is a little concerning is that the tail light lenses that were in the box (I got this kit as an open kit from another modeler) were not the correct lenses for the kit. So, if anyone happens to have a spare set of tail light lenses for the AMT/Ertl 1969 Plymouth GTX I'd greatly appreciate the help. Oh, and a driver's side door mirror. Thanks for looking!
  18. Never heard of Ad Astra, but I did enjoy 2001: A Space Odyssey, Apocalypse Now, & Firefly.
  19. The only thing of interest to me was the Galileo shuttle craft. Although the 1932 Chrysler Imperial 8 does have some potential with all the extra stuff in the box. A police bike, but no officer figure? That's a strange oversight.
  20. Sure is an interesting looking car. Great scratchbuilding. I'm going to guess that all the weight on the left side of the car helps it turn left better. I would think it would be tough to drive on anything but an oval.
  21. Nice looking GTO. Well done.
  22. Great looking Impala. Very well done. I like the steering wheel.
  23. Harley-Davidson has been in continuous operation since 1903.
