  1. That's astounding! I've always told people that if you want to learn how to make realistic scenery, talk to a railroad modeler. This proves my point!
  2. Thanks.
  3. That looks fantastic. Very well detailed. Can't say as I've ever seen a truck restraint mechanism at a loading dock. Is that a European thing?
  4. Looks great, Tom.
  5. Looks really nice, Michael. Very West Coast with the old Peterbilt.
  6. Looks like you fought the good fight, and came out on top. Well done.
  7. Thanks, Dan. We'll see what happens.
  8. Those are so cool. Fantastic weathering for models so small. And I thought 1/700 scale ships were small. What track does Nn3 run on? Can't run on standard N track.
  9. Henry, Here's a list I "compiled" a while ago. It is by no means a comprehensive list: American Industrial Truck Models ( www.aitruckmodels.com ) - resin parts (also hosts Illini Replicas) Model Truckin' ( http://modeltruckin.com/store/ ) - decals Plaskit - resin parts (Daniel doesn't have a Website, but you can email him at plaskit_resin@yahoo.ca ) GW Trucks - resin parts (Gary doesn't have a Website, but you can email him at gwtrucks@yahoo.com for a catalog) Kit Form Services ( www.kitformservices.com/ ) - resin, P/E, decals GR Decals ( www.grdecals.com.au/ ) - decals & P/E Auslowe ( www.auslowe.com.au/ ) - resin, decals, P/E The Model Car Garage ( www.modelcargarage.com/store/pc/default.asp ) - mostly car stuff, but some P/E & detail items for rigs Scale Equipment Ltd. ( www.seltd.net/ ) - mostly car diorama stuff, but some things could be useful Czech Truck Model ( http://www.czechtruckmodel.com/eshop/index.php ) - mostly P/E but some multi-media update kits. Double-Take Replicas ( kdhumphr.wix.com/double-take-replicas - wheels, tires, & some other resin items Mo'luminum Model Truck Parts (http://moluminum-com.3dcartstores.com/) - turned aluminum parts, P/E, resin parts Hope this helps.
  10. What sort of parts are you looking for?
  11. Someone will bid on it. You know someone will. Some collector who needs the original Monogram boxed kit to complete his collection.
  12. Looks really nice. Well done.
  13. Thanks, John.
  14. Very nice job, Jesus. Definitely looks the part.
  15. Interesting. Can't say as I've ever seen a pumper with a sleeper before.
  16. The only M939 5-ton that I know of is the 1/35 Italeri M923 kit. There are some 1/35 resin conversion kits available, too, but they are VERY expensive. http://realmodel.cz/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=11&Itemid=79%2Findex.php%3Foption&page=shop.browse&category_id=12&Itemid=79%2Findex.php%3Foption&page=shop.browse&category_id=14&Itemid=79&vmcchk=1&Itemid=79http://www.realmodel.cz/shop/index.php Good luck with your project.
  17. That's a great looking Ford, TĂșlio. Very well done. Just finished this kit myself.
  18. Nice looking Mercury, TĂșlio. I'm working on this kit now.
  19. Nicely done. It even sits level.
  20. Thanks, I appreciate the offer. Can you post a pic of the parts? I'm not familiar with the kit.
  21. Thanks for the comments, guys. I appreciate it. David, I've already tried that route, but it doesn't look like anyone has purchased that kit that isn't going build it as a police car. I have the gumball light from a Jo-han 1968 Fury kit (I think), but I still need to track down a more period correct radio, rood sirens, & figure out some way to make the whip antennas & curb feelers. Shouldn't be too terribly difficult!
