  1. I love to see a long bed fleetside with step bumper and stock wheels( well not those stock wheels, but the steelies and caps stock) done one day, oh yeah. To be really picky, from the 80's would be nice, square headlight era.
  2. As long as the check clears
  3. I was thinking that too Mike, maybe doing it for a year or two for that cash flow .
  4. I imagine yes someone will do it at some point this year, more than likely it will be Mike's Decals that does it. Don't take that as fact, just a guess.
  5. Nothing there cranks my engine over besides the Ford GT , but I want to say I am liking the art work for looks like to be for the box art, really cool in my opinion.
  6. The best and probably most accurate answer out of 9 pages
  7. Its not, but like James pointed out, there is cost factor and we are not the home market , I agree 100% with Scott and it would be really nice if the LHD parts , or US spec parts were included in the kits for subjects that made it over here, but we don't live in that perfect world sadly
  8. Here we go, the reissue of the MG-B kits from Aoshima, Tahiti Blue from Scalefinishes is the paint, and what I learned building it , my building is a lot like that of the Fine British Engineering. The wheels I used a Silver Sharpie on, painted them black first, they turned out ok, could be tad better I feel , the windscreen frame turned out really good, till it was time to install it. I started with a black base coat, I was going to BMF it, but whats left of my BMF is getting old and is tearing and sticking to the backing paper. So I re masked off the windows and shot Alclad Polished Aluminum on it, it look very good, but a lot of rubbed off.
  9. I would be too, and they are the clear front runners at this point to do it, and with Gazoo racing using the Supra as well, and with them doing the Gazoo Racing Toyota Hybrid , it make some sense. Tamiya did the Gazoo Racing Toyota 86 Rally Version some years back, although that was simply tooling up some new race bits, doing the race version of the Supra would require a lot of new parts , probably on the same lines as their stock Supra and Super GT Supra kit they did .
  10. Once I realized who he was, I had the pleasure to build his trailer kits and to read Scale Auto E before the E was dropped, the hobby lost an actual somebody that did something positive for the hobby.
  11. Here is a fun fact , you are not wanted to open to the passengers doors yourself, the doors electronically controlled by the driver and he will open and close the door, its consider rude for the passenger to open/close the door themselves.
  12. Here is mine, finally got it finished up, now I know I use this a line alot, but It really could of turned out a lot better, had to do the paint over because mass debris in the clear coat, and it just went down hill from there, had some fit issues but that was my doing, this kit really has some very tight tolerances when it comes to some of the body pieces. Had wet sand and polish a small area of the windscreen to remove some glue I got on it because carelessness on my part. It is what is , I am still happy with it. Paint, Ford Liquid Blue from Scalefinishes.
  13. New kit coming from Aoshima went up for pre order this morning in Japan, and I can say, we didnt see this one coming, I mean who would of guessed, and till about three hours ago, I had no idea this was even a thing , but now I gotta I have one. The current estimated release date is showing for July and Japan pricing is around $25 and they are going to be two version, one with a white body, and one with a black body. https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10605157

  15. Uhh, people in the 60's had really high waists.
  16. Well that is a naughty word cool
  17. Tim posted all of these in the Truck Section of the forum.
  18. Right, I don't think we are going to use the insurance on this one , its not really worth it.
  19. Heck, we cant even them to tell us if it is covered, we believe the deductible is $500, and all but one quote Ive gotten has been over $500,
  20. Well, he got it from here But, it was said I think last year that this was going to be the follow up to the box trailers they did, so its been kind of known for awhile it was at least on the future project table.
  21. Yep, I ended up with two( but only paid for one, semi boring story) one has the .35 and one has the .5, they are wonderful Airbrush, workhorses , worth every penny.
  22. I am sure there is way, seal it with plexan maybe, or some other type of clear film that is strong.
