  1. Absolutely stunning build! Love everything about it!
  2. No interest in the Buick, but I want both the stockers. Had them and sold them and now they are bringing a little $$$. Would be interested at regular new kit price. The GTX maybe for parts....
  3. I'll be in for 1 or 2 for sure. I would definitely be in for an SS version.
  4. Nice job! I like the added details and paint! A friend of mine has a real 2016 Z-L1 and it is absurdly fast!
  5. Was at the Ollie's on Airport Road Allentown, Pa. They got the AMT modern cars in : C6 Corvette convertible and coupe (2009?), 2010 Camaro SS, Chrysler 300 ( 2005?). Also had the AMT '55 Corvette. I got 1 of those. Still had the Lindberg '37 Ford Roadster hot rod, but all the other car stuff they had before was gone. Still had a bunch of Lindberg planes, boats and military. The one on Tilghman Street had the Lindberg '37 Ford, AMT Datsun 280 Z and Der Beetle Bus. Also the same tons of Lindberg planes. boats, military.
  6. Nothing spectacular, but I went flea marketing today and found these. All unbuilt complete. The '55 Corvette is from Ollie's. Stopped there on the way home. There was a guy at the flea market that had a bunch of vintage stuff, built ups, parts and several started kits and empty boxes, but he thought he had a "gold mine" and his prices were a little too high for me, and he wouldn't budge, so I had to walk away. Would have bothered me years ago, but now I have the attitude of "if it's meant to be, great, if it's not so be it".
  7. This one was at Hot Rod Drag Week. I was able to take off from work and go on Wednesday at Atco Raceway in New Jersey. It was an AWESOME time and full of neat cars like this Bel Air. Love all the old drag cars in this post!
  8. Sorry to see the paint problems, but the work you have done is outstanding!
  9. If you do an ebay search for the '71 RR that was made in 1987, the one I was talking about, you will see that according to the items that actually SOLD, my range is accurate. I simply looked at the ones with the price marked in green and that is what they sold for. I am also not talking about the original issue or the '72, they bring big money. It doesn't really matter anyway because the original poster has said he is more interested in getting the model to the masses than to get one or more for himself. I did not know that when I originally posted.

Cool! Great job melding two very different vehicles into a successful design!
  11. If you do a search for sold items, you can see what stuff actually sold for in the last 2 or 3 months. This is where I got the numbers I quoted.
  12. There is a big difference between selling and asking price especially on ebay....plus I am talking about the last reissue from 1987, which actually sells for between $30 and $60 according to recent sales on ebay.
  13. Beautiful job, these cars are awesome!
  14. Not to be a wise a$$, but the last reissue of the MPC 1971 Roadrunner is not that hard to find, nor that expensive is it? I think they are around in the $30 to $50 range on line and probably a lot cheaper at shows. That translates to a little more than retail. There are tons of aftermarket parts, donor kits and decals for mopar stuff to make them better too. It sounds like you love the car and I get it, but it may just be easier to find what is out there.
  15. Cool concept! You have very successfully translated the original design into a well built model. Can't wait to see it in paint!
  16. Nice job! Great color and engine details. Nice job on the black out hood too!
  17. Nice job!!
  18. Your builds are awesome!!
  19. Great build! Beautiful color and lettering!
  20. Very nice job! I have had 2 of these and foolishly sold both of them. I need to get another, it builds into a sharp model!
  21. Beautiful job! The extra motor detail really looks great and you picked the perfect color for this car!
  22. I had an 80s issue of the 1974 Roadrunner, It was listed as a GTX , molded in red and had goofy stripes and some style of 80's custom wheels on the box. I remember it had a single exhaust with catalytic converter molded in and I am pretty sure an incorrect interior. I am wondering if this new one has a correct interior and chassis? if so I would like one, otherwise I have a lot of other projects.....
  23. It is not a kit I would typically be interested in, but it looks very nicely done. The Model T's look good too. Nice it is 1/24 and not smaller scale. I would love to see some later 20s and 30s era cars and trucks done to these standards./
