  1. Outstanding work so far! That engine is top notch!
  2. Nice job! I always liked the color scheme on his cars of that era.
  3. Nice job! A sad story, but it was really nice that you tried to get it together for him.
  4. Nothing against 'Ol Chad, but if this is his job, shouldn't he know the products? It's like he is seeing this stuff for the first time when he is reviewing it. Or is that the point? Is it supposed to be "Oh, look at this it's just off the truck." I mean the majority of people taking the time to look are knowledgable collectors and model builders so we know when he is BSing because he doesn't know what he is talking about.
  5. That would be......what's the word I am looking for?.....cool. Lol!
  6. Nice mild custom, suits that model perfectly, great color too!
  7. That's really nice! Great photography too!
  8. Looks great in that color!
  9. Actually, the '62 Buick Special might be doable, I don't think it was butchered into anything else. I had a nice unpainted built up with all the extra parts and a really hacked up vintage built up drag car, but have since sold both. It would be nice to see this one come back, it has a lot of cool extras: the engine hoist, gas cans, trailer and a Double Dragster Hemi motor with multiple intake options.
  10. Yeah, that is true, I could see a "Womp'in Wagon" repop with original style box art and some of the old parts added. Then follow the formula: extra set of tinted glass, "expanded" decal sheet and new pad-printed tires and slicks. The Nomad hasn't been out for around 10 years, so it makes sense. Also I forgot about the Boss Nova, it was mentioned in another thread. This is an obvious possibility, because it was last available in the mid 2000s as a Model king release.
  11. Yup, I could see regular and tinted glass, "expanded" decal sheet and some of the pad-printed tires.....viola!
  12. Maybe it will just be a rehash of the Boss Nova, that was last reissued in the mid 2000s. Forgot about that one, it would fit the way they are doing things now.
  13. I don't think it will be another '65 Chevelle wagon, in the live event on Friday it seemed that it would be something not seen for a while or new. They made a craftsman 1960 Chevy wagon , 1963 Chevy II/Nova Wagon, the '62 Buick Special Wagon, They also made a '64 Chevelle Wagon. I would be happy to see any of these brought back.
  14. Great job! Wish they would reissue this one and the Bantam blast. Nice models themselves and great parts cars for vintage drag builders.
  15. Nice collection. Just because you have money, doesn't mean you have a good eye. This guy clearly does. The '32 is near perfection. The only one that was a little wonky to me is the purple pickup. Don't like the extended cab and the 60's styling, but it is still a outstanding quality custom.
  16. Super nice! Great color and details!!
  17. Great job!
