  1. Awesome job! Looks great as a pro street. The motor really looks good!
  2. Wow! Super nice! Love the color and the Cammer motor!
  3. Another masterpiece. Art more so than model!
  4. Tremendous job! Looks great!
  5. It's supposed to be an Oldsmobile. The kits origin was the old Blue Beetle from the 60's and that had a Cadillac with a 6x2 intake. The blocks are the same. The heads and intake were changed in the Boss A Bone version, to look like an Olds and were carried into the Early Iron version you have. The recent Blue Bandito version brought back the Cadillac style motor, but it doesn't have the Cadillac script valve covers that were in the original.
  6. Nice job! Like what you did with the front bumper and adding the Moon tank. Great color and stance.
  7. A 4-speed and interior console swap are relatively easy to do. The nice thing about this car is it doesn't have a different hood, grille, tail lights, or trim specific to the high performance model. Like say a Chevelle SS or GTO. Also I was looking at the hardtop roofline and the AMT '65 GTO will probably work, as others have mentioned. I am glad to see this kit back, I had a nice unbuilt convertible and sold it a few years ago.
  8. I was just looking and unless I missed something, there isn't that much difference between the standard F85 convertible and the 442 for '64. Looks to be mechanical stuff you would not see in a model, like beefier motor and chassis upgrades. The only real difference is the 442 emblems/badging that are added. These could be replicated if someone does a photo etch set.
  9. While it looks like it was a pretty nice build the first time, you did a great job on the resto. The color combination is just perfect and you did a really neat and clean build overall!
  10. While not stock, Monogram did their pro stock and then current funny car and sprint car series in the 80's as well. These were great models with equally nice box art. I have always liked Monogram models, especially from this era. I was a kid, just starting to build. I remember buying all the muscle car kits when they were new.
  11. A good number of these discontinued kits were at Hobby Lobby too when they discounted their stock in the summer. They were marked down to around $7.
  12. Superb job! Love they way you did the wheels and tires.
  13. Great job! Nice job picking out the emblems and details.
  14. This is a model? I mistook it for a real car.?
  15. That's super sharp. Like the twin turbo v6 motor. Great color too!
  16. Beautiful work. Great looking model! Love everything about it!
  17. I am thinking AMT '33 Willys, haven't tried it though.......
  18. Definitely want both of these.....
  19. Hard to tell it is a model!! Very nice work, the details are outstanding!
  20. Very nice job! Your work is subtle, but expertly done. This is a beautiful blending of the truck and car parts!
