  1. I don't know how much of a hurry you are in, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it show up at Hobby Lobby in the next couple of months.
  2. IIRC, that was one of the early Model Master enamels. It looks great on 1960s cars for sure.
  3. I don't see a whole lot there that I would buy, even if I was closer than 1095.29 miles away from the nearest Ollies. The Olds kits are parts goldmines if you like updating other A-Body GMs and I might get one of the Mustangs. The folks putting these things on eBay may be counting on people like me that don't have an Ollies nearby and may want to buy an out of production $10 kit for $20 and spend $14 to have it shipped from the other side of the country.
  4. https://www.ebay.com/itm/384213222527?hash=item5974e4847f:g:EGcAAOSw0vtgwNuV Only one I see so far. At least they took a Magic Marker to the price.
  5. Sorry, maybe this should have said "Despite their best efforts......." Being able to sell ad space to magazine advertisers and other model-related vendors is what I am hoping can be done sooner rather than later.
  6. Sorry. I have been using an ad blocker on this site for years on my PC and now the new laptop. I have stopped visiting the site on my Android tablet because it was frequently unviewable because of what your screenshots show. I don't find the forum particularly smartphone friendly either. I hate to have to do this, but the admins don't seem to be able to keep the size of the ads under control.
  7. I drove a '68 mustang from age 17 (late 70s) to age 41. Early on, I discovered that this style Ford door latch made a fine bottle opener as long as you were quick about getting the bottle upright after it was opened. Near the end of my ownership, I demonstrated that party trick at an impromptu show, much to the shock of the more tightly wound attendees. It was about 85% original paint when I sold it, and it had tell-tale chips in the door jamb from the bottles it had opened over the course of my ownership.
  8. I live near a river parkway in the Sacramento area, and we allegedly have 3-4 breeding pairs now within a couple miles of the house. I have seen photos and I am pretty sure that the bird that I POed one evening by walking too near its roosting tree wasn't an owl. Too big and too much noise taking off. It's amazing that we now have so much wildlife in suburbia. Wasn't like that when I was a kid here.
  9. Saw this in a nearby village a little bit ago. I am not a Red Car Fanboy my any means, but these cars have just beautiful proportions. I was just sad that there were no nearby feral chickens that wanted to pose with it. https://modernfarmer.com/2014/08/go-wild-chickens-worth-celebrating/ https://www.facebook.com/FairOaksChickens/
  10. That's kind of a mean thing to say about Betsy Congratulations, I too married a hoarder (books).
  11. If you are going to add figures, you could put a cop in the cage and a dog in the seat like this Homer/pig/watermelon farmer gag.
  12. I have these. My spouse asked if I wanted to become a part time dentist. No. They work very nicely. My advice is that if you drop one, let it fall to the floor. I grabbed for one that I dropped and did a great job of puncturing my thumb trying to catch it.
  13. It's like that up here as well too. Too many graffiti artists running amok in the stores I guess.... They don't have anything in a spray can I am interested in anyway, except maybe Dullcote. I am not really a fan of the other Testors enamels.
  14. I realize that Chevelle isn't a great leap from Camaro, but they did give us a new tool '68 and '69 Chevelle and some really cool VW T1 and T2 transporter kits.
  15. Was in McHale's Navy as well.
  16. I have had the great pleasure of meeting B-17 Sentimental Journey in person several times and B-17 909 (R.I.P.) once during air shows in my area. I am not familiar with B-17 Texas Rangers, I don't think she has ever made it out here. I have had an inside tour of Sentimental Journey and also B-29 Fifi. At 5'9" both planes were definitely cramped inside to walk around inside. My spouse laughs at me for the time I spend on YouTube watching and listening to anything with four Wright Cyclones starting up and taking off, but it it is an amazing sound experience.
