  1. Maybe the grey would be better than black on a blue car?
  2. The proprietors of my LHS don't believe in magazines, so I ordered a copy online. Informed Delivery says it will be in my mailbox today. Really wish it could be in B&N again, but I understand the issues (no pun intended) that would cause.
  3. My mom died in 1999, dad in 2003. MIL died in 2012, her husband in 1999. Still get stuff addressed to all four of them. I think that J.C. Penney has finally figured out that my mom hasn't purchased anything from them for a while, so they have stopped sending stuff to her.
  4. We had our first (Pfizer) last Monday. No issues other than slightly sore arms. I think that the pharmacist who shot me may be a world champion dart player when he isn't pushing pills....
  5. Sheriff had a search warrant for the event recorder data. Courts long ago ruled that it belongs to the owner of the vehicle, so a search warrant is required and normally granted when requested. The "accident" happened in a spot where a lot of self-important rich folks have crashed while speeding and not paying attention. Maybe they will install some speed bumps or something now.
  6. Why?? To keep the hoses from getting wet?
  7. Friend in high school (1977) had a black 65 with a red interior. It was a 289 HiPo and only had about 60k on it at the time. I don't think anyone knew how rare it was. I would like to build a tribute to it if I could find a kit, promo, or semi-gluebomb.
  8. The "rubber" blacks have a bit of brown in them.
  9. Overall I am not a big fan of the little square Testor's bottles, but the rubber works for me as well as the Tamiya.
  10. I have had one of those mini tubing cutters for years. I believe that it came from an auto parts store and was billed as a cutter for steel brake lines. I usually use the knife method to cut aluminum tubing though.
  11. Didn't know that. The GTO is the only one I ever had or saw in person.
  12. Actually, it Depends......
  13. I have been giving my stylist a $20 tip for an $18 haircut. They has been closed a couple times in the last year, and the salon rent is $10k/month. The takeout/delivery/curbside pickup restaurants have been surviving, but quite a few of the others have closed or had to adapt. I too have been lucky enough to work from home for over a year.
  14. The folks that made your sandwich deserve at least a little, IMHO. Not the 15-25% that you might leave for table service, but I always leave something. A couple dollars is more helpful to their budget than it is to mine.
  15. I have a built example of the original one here somewhere. I watched Chris' build last night and was a little annoyed to see a Big Block Chevy engine, not a Pontiac. I assume that mine is exactly the same.
  16. It's a very attractive kit, but has some mold parting lines on the body. If you clean those up, check your work with primer, and be careful with paint you will have a very nice model.
  17. The new AMT Nova wagon?
  18. Yes, I have one as well and it is quite nice.
