  1. Rebuilt this display cabinet today! I doubled capacity by having 4 new shelves cut by local glass shop. Due to angles, I had to remove back to drill holes for new brackets, and while it was open I removed back wall mirror. Photo is completed cabinet with 8 levels.. already full!
  2. That was amazing. My only experience with a drone was at a friend’s outdoor birthday party two summers ago. Our other friends live a street or two away and their son wasn’t at the party. He stayed home but sent the drone over and supplied some neat photos.
  3. I dunno. The strategic plan of Revell was to invest in new tooling for timeless vehicles we’d build over and over. The 32s were the start of this, and the Model As were the follow up. There were definitely more Model As planned.. there are clues in the kits including the full detail in the fixed lid trunk. I used the excellent batteries and fuel tanks in other builds where they’d be on display. And there was always the opportunity to add more to the 32s, maybe more difficult now with changes in personnel and loss of company files. But in today’s market.. especially with recent announcements by all the model companies, I’ve learned never say never! We may be happily surprised
  4. Thanks Carl! Here’s the paint.. color is Satin Pistachio. It did lay nice. Even when I touched up with a brush it blended in. Huge can, I don’t know what else I’d paint this color since I like everything in my case to be fairly unique unless it’s a replica.
  5. Go for it! Should be pretty cool! ?
  6. Huge evil snowman ⛄️
  7. Finished and has joined my other recent Jeeps on the shelf. This is the third piece I pulled out of a bag of Jeep parts and junkers I once bought at a show for $10. Windshield frame was busted in two. It’s chopped and plastic was also removed at the base to lower it. The tow bar was added to front bumper just to add interest. It was a rung cut from the scale ladder that’s on the roof of my Dodge Caravan.. never throw anything away! Diamond plate was added to fill that big empty gap between grille and bumper. Paint is a Krylon Pistachio satin finish paint I tried because I thought it was an interesting color for a $1 Ollie’s deal. Wheels are from the AMT 53 Ford pickup. I’m not happy with hood fit on sides but that’s the kit. I may add some plastic to the sides and repaint. Florida plate “PARTZ” since everything here came from the parts box. I made the tail lights from odd lenses and scrap plastic. Tail gate is functional. This was a major glue bomb so the wheel wells were sanded smooth and diamond plate was added to the floor. Chasss got a lot of work. We had no suspension, so all 4 leafs are from the Revell 50 Ford pickup. Rear axle was a broken center pumpkin with Evergreen round axles. It’s 2WD with an Evergreen axle as well. Maybe before and after? Both refugees from the same bag-0-parts. Engine is Ford V8 from Falcon Modified Stocker with intake from the original Jeepster kit’s optional drag engine. Valve covers from my parts box. Intake just had a big empty space in the middle so I made the fuel rail. Interior is simple. Buckets from my parts box, dash gauges I had printed previously for my Jeepsters. Model Car Garage photo etched seat belt buckles. This was a fun simple build just for the challenge of making something from nothing. I think this would be fun to drive around.. take out some Camaros with the big eight, manual tranny and headers! And don’t forget where you came from! The humble beginnings!
  8. Nice pickup! I need to build a 60!
  9. I saw! I have a resin 34 sedan, unchopped to build someday
  10. Great custom!
  11. Paul should be fine, just not posting on this board. He just listed more copies of his resin kits on eBay.
  12. Just about anything 32 would sell well. How about a 4 door sedan?
  13. I know that feeling! Everything on my bench is sitting there at one step I dread! My 24 Hour Build Red Chariot came apart to fix some details and I dreaded the last step of permanently mounting the new and improved wood floor... it’s drying right now! So this one should come thundering off the bench shortly.
  14. Naughty underwear drawer
  15. There needs to be a t-shirt for this one! I've been clear coating a body, reached for the spray can to touch up a small area and sprayed flat black! ? Lesson learned? Today I write the color in black marker on the silver part of the can right below the nozzle! Also when I buy new spray cans of paint, I will write the in service date somewhere on the can label.
  16. Super! Just a great “good ole truck”! Very realistic and believable.
  17. I always observe the junk on the side of the interstates that came flying off trucks or cars. I chuckle when I see a single drawer or couch cushion. I chuckle to myself as to the owner’s reaction when they went to unload.
