  1. I dislike eggnog. My wife likes it and always buys some during the holidays
  2. An old sign lettering trick.. rest your hand on a large beanbag. It takes the shape of your hand against it and stabilizes your hand. This was shown to me by a guy who was hand lettering a model car body… he was using the large bag of M&Ms as his bean bag.. if you can resist eating them!
  3. Sunday evening my wife and I are headed out for a meal. We’re sitting at a light and some clown pulls up on the left with the thumpa! thumpa! loud. I notice he has his right window open to eventuate the experience, and is dying for us to look over “Look at me! I leased a Tesla!”. We refused to acknowledge the dullard!
  4. The truth is.. we don’t know! Maybe is just mfgrs having supply chain issues
  5. Yes that was a Flxible! Can’t wait to see what they do with it! And before anyone asks about the 60 Ford in the last photo, here it is Camaro getting the full treatment! I took a few photos since I thought this could be a cool model! Lemme see if I can swing back and see if any of the other mentioned cars are still there!
  6. Great model! Bet you had as much fun creating the junk! It looks like the guys who cruise around my town in garbage night!
  7. Children could come up with better sentences !
  8. Very cool. I would love to have a 1:1 TROG racer to take that spin on the beach! Unfortunately when we showed to for TROG this year, this is all that was there! They had to pull the plug due to Hurricane Ian!
  9. From a previous visit so I didn’t photo it this last trip. And a few bonus photos from the earlier visit! I’m in love.. I used to have a 60 Electra 2 door hardtop. And if this one had a For Sale sign on it I would have surely inquired!
  10. It could be as simple as needing the coil vacuumed. Take a look at it, couldn’t hurt.
  11. And this one too! Looks like it just got to Pennsylvania from Utah!
  12. Got my car inspected.. this was the bunch currently at the hot rod shop across the parking lot..
  13. The whole vehicle market is upside down right now. My 2015 Elantra that I bought in 2017 for $12k when it had 29,000 miles on it is now being advertised for $15k for one with 120,000 miles. We also have a 2005 Lecross I paid $8k for 10 years ago. I had it at the garage for state inspection and was asked if I’d sell it for $10k. Sounds good until you realize there’s nothing to buy to replace them!
  14. I've seen the Fireball 500 in person, sat in it and crawled around inside the back many years ago after it was first restored. It was a typical movie car, money was only spent where it would be seen on the screen. For instance, although in the movie it's supposed to have some huge Hemi or something, it was simply a 273 V8 automatic car under the hood. Interior wise, the top of the dashboard got the custom treatment, but below that it was a standard Barracuda dash and bucket seats.
  15. Every kit release has a budget based on the reasonable expected return. Tooling up new engines is expensive and not in the budget
  16. Effort during planning saves much time during execution
  17. Wedged is the opposite of un-wedged
  18. First to answer your question.. I will leave the body just sitting on the chassis so I can lift it off to show the chassis detail if warranted, and yours certainly qualifies! Very nice! I did buy the latest release of this kit and thought the multipiece chassis and that exhaust was odd, but now that I see yours built, it really works!
  19. Here we go again!
  20. Mine field of dog poop, that backyard of my neighbor!
  21. Charger Hemi is the weapon of choice for inner city street racers, half of them stolen. Every weekend Philly news shows start out with an accident report showing a trail of parts, but no recognizable car from the previous evening’s oopsies. When I first heard of an electric Charger all I could think of was how this crowd would more efficiently kill themselves along with unfortunate motorists and pedestrians in their path!
  22. eBay, Amazon or flea market..
  23. The month of September— Local gas station on a Saturday, I followed him in.. wasn’t fast enough to get a pic of the Ford GT leaving! T-Bird on my way to New Jersey last Friday Was in New York City.. I have an office there Yes that is a full nose if a Chevy school bus. It’s in Ron’s Original Tavern in Exton, PA where we go often. Place was originally called Ron’s School House.. and the bus, as well as their “School Night Specials” menu survived. It’s fun when a newbie asks where the restroom is.. “Go down this hall and make a left at the school bus” And I spent a week in Des Moines.. have an office there too!
  24. Here’s mine. All rigid metal exhaust, through panel to outside.
