  1. Very nice build of such an interesting subject. It would never have been confused for any other car on the road!
  2. Very large "cool" factor! Looks like a terrifying driver, though! Worth the time you put into it. Well done.
  3. Very clean model, but it's the restrained use of the bit of strong color against the subtle neutral hues of the car that make it a standout. Very tasteful and sporty at the same time!
  4. THAT looks much more in proportion with the wheel opening, don't you think? Are your wheels the 1/24 Monogram "Centerlines"? If you're having trouble finding 1/25 choices, here's a couple of possibilities that open up way more choices for tires. The chrome ones are found in the AMT '59 El Camino, and are all the same offset and have the slightly convex center area much like what you have. The unfinished wheels are a deep and shallow set found in AMT's '55 Chevy, and have a flat center.
  5. Oh yeah, that's nice color! Paint looks excellent.
  6. Nicely done!
  7. Excellent color choice for that body. That is a clean, beautiful model! Well done.
  8. Wow. Every sub-assembly of this is a stand-alone model in itself. Would make an interesting display; one of these "blown apart" to showcase features.
  9. Lots of kits with similar wheels, shouldn't be too hard to source some. For a snorkel scoop you mentioned earlier, will the one from the AMT 57 vette street machine work for you? If so, PM me your address, and I'll send you one.
  10. Going to look like a real street machine, but if I may say, I think your front tires are just a bit too large. They look "over-scaled" in the photo, and it may just be a photographic anomaly, but they appear "balloonish" in those wheel openings. Otherwise, your mockup has a very strong muscle car stance!
  11. Nice example of a simple yet effective background. Nice job, and thanks for sharing it!
  12. Is this the '68 tooling now sold as the AMT '68, or did both companies do '68 Camaros? I don't recall ever seeing this version, either. This has become one of my favorite pieces of box art! This is the sort of thing that would have made me as a kid WANT this kit! This has that "coooool" factor in large doses, and does so simply. Excellent rendering; the artist is to be commended.
  13. This turned out VERY nice. Good work, beautiful model. Well done.
  14. Nice build, especially precise work on foiling the letters on that quarter panel! (...or is that Molotow?)
  15. Intense color! Looks good. Well done.
  16. The engineering on this is fantastic! Beautiful model.
  17. Fun project, but I'm digging the box art car! Do you still have those parts?
  18. Beautiful build! Love the 41 trucks, and this is a nice twist; very unique. Well done.
  19. That's hilarious! Nice build, great color. Well done.
  20. What a jewel! Nice work, it looks just right!
  21. Fantastic model! Details are uber-realistic, and the choice of subject makes for an outstanding display with its strong colors. Beautiful.
  22. Ha! It's been windy here (central KY) for the last two months, got to be the windiest Spring in ages!
  23. Looks like the paint laid out beautifully. Very nice looking in silver.
