  1. That worked out really well! I really dig the proportions; it looks "right" to me. Very well done, and you painted it the right color!
  2. Very nice interior, and will complement the body color beautifully. This is really shaping up.
  3. Aren't those the tires from the old dirt track racers (super st ockers?). There's something familiar about that funky tread pattern.
  4. An absolute beauty. Thanks for the pics! Have you modeled this vehicle?
  5. Oh yes, that's good work! Very nicely done, and one to be proud of. Thanks for showing us more!
  6. Germans had some outrageous stuff on the drawing boards for sure, and were not shy about trying just about anything! This thing just looks like a beast. Who makes this kit? Or, is it scratch-built? Would also love to see a few more pics!
  7. Coming right along!
  8. Cool stuff. Now talk to us about the gray car with fins hiding in the garage! 57ish...
  9. VERY nice build; really sharp. Well done.
  10. Very nice work, and great looking in that color scheme! Near and dear to me, as I recently purchased a fixer-upper (real car), and have been eyeballing a resin kit. I never knew the origins of the kit, but I see now it must be JoHan.
  11. I'd bet the person you got it from mistakenly mis-identified it as from a '59 Impala, when in fact it was from the '59 Cadillac convertible. Both were newer tooled 1/25 kits, both Monogram, but a Caddy roof is bigger in all dimensions than an Impala, and that would explain the discrepancy.
  12. Nice looking build. This is one of my favorite auto roof-lines, just too cool. (My dad had a '60 Impala 4-door hardtop.) Well done Buick.
  13. That works really well, and is a tough looking off-roader!
  14. THAT is looking good. Will these be available for purchase?
  15. It's acrylic craft paint, good quality stuff, but would need to be airbrushed on something large as a car body. It is brushable for smaller parts, and covers pretty good for such a pearly color.
  16. Another great score! Lots to absorb there. That 109 box always cracked me up; just look at the silly smirk on the face of the guy in the back seat, as he's looking right at you! The Hasegawa box has to be one of their most colorful ever, and what a great looking Jug that is. You lucky dog.
  17. Lookin' good. That interior just speaks to me; it's gorgeous! I was liking the color early on, but seeing it all together so clean, it's a shame this ain't a convertible!
  18. The more finishing you do to this body, the more I'm loving that color.
  19. Body is looking very nice!
  20. Looks pretty ambitious! Nice work so far.
  21. Will be interesting to watch this one develop.
  22. Nicely done. I always thought Roth claimed too much credit for the look of this rod, sort of like Barris and the Batmobile: paint the Futura black, add some red pinstripes, and your 95% there already. Promoters extraordinaire. I much prefer the Tweedy Pie as you've built it; a real hot rod.
  23. Very cool. "Old car" indeed!
  24. Looks ready to sell! Great color for that body, and another really nice stock build for your ever-growing collection!
  25. Both cool projects, will be following along. I really like those Impalas. Once owned a '66 SS with a 283!
