  1. Cool build!
  2. Interior is CLEAN! I really like your use of different shades and finishes of black, it adds so much realism to the appearance of a kit. As nice as the interior is, I really dig the engine bay the most. It's the star of the show! Great metal finishes with the engine color nested in all that black just looks wicked. Loving it!
  3. Engine is neat and clean!
  4. Really loving this build. Very cool subdued color, this model is going to look very good with a black interior. It dawned on me the other day just how rare this kit is and why I've never seen one; it can't be re-released! MPC destroyed the tooling for their '68 turning it (poorly) into a '69. They should have left well enough alone!
  5. Nice build! Perfect hot rod color!
  6. Great color you used on this one, that's a new one for me. I like it a lot. Haven't seen one of these built in a while, which is too bad, 'cause it's a very nice looking auto! Very well done.
  7. The gold stripes really work well on the red body, just plain sharp! Well done.
  8. Nice job! Very nice color on this one.
  9. Big fan of the Tri-5 GM cars and 4-door hardtops, so this is really attractive to me! Nice color combo for this that handsome body. Well done.

    57 Chevy

Hard to beat a red 57! Very nice job; beautiful clean build.
  11. Beautiful mild custom; simple and clean to let the paint work shine!
  12. Nicely done. I recall an excellent article (from back in the 90s or early 2000s maybe) in FineScaleModeler magazine showing this very process, on a 1/48 B-17 I think. Very informative article. I think the author used a foil adhesive made by MicroMark. (?) I remember that he picked out different panels, and buffed some with #0000 steel wool, rubbing different directions on different panels to catch the light differently and give some variety. The results can be spectacular. Anyone else remember this?
  13. Outrageous trike! Nice job on the build; looks slick in silver.
  14. I was liking this in silver, then you added the black lower body and man, did that punch up the look a notch or two! Very nice! Sharp, and a clean build. Well done.
  15. Great looking collection, and all seem to be done your way, as opposed to straight from the box! Like the fade on the Ranchero very much.
  16. Badman will FOREVER be my favorite version of this kit, it just made such an impression on me as a kid. WHAT?! The WINDOWS are tinted red? ... and the scoop too?! Mom! MOOOOOOM!!
  17. Very nice build of such an interesting subject. It would never have been confused for any other car on the road!
  18. Very large "cool" factor! Looks like a terrifying driver, though! Worth the time you put into it. Well done.
  19. Very clean model, but it's the restrained use of the bit of strong color against the subtle neutral hues of the car that make it a standout. Very tasteful and sporty at the same time!
  20. THAT looks much more in proportion with the wheel opening, don't you think? Are your wheels the 1/24 Monogram "Centerlines"? If you're having trouble finding 1/25 choices, here's a couple of possibilities that open up way more choices for tires. The chrome ones are found in the AMT '59 El Camino, and are all the same offset and have the slightly convex center area much like what you have. The unfinished wheels are a deep and shallow set found in AMT's '55 Chevy, and have a flat center.
  21. Oh yeah, that's nice color! Paint looks excellent.
  22. Nicely done!
  23. Excellent color choice for that body. That is a clean, beautiful model! Well done.
  24. Wow. Every sub-assembly of this is a stand-alone model in itself. Would make an interesting display; one of these "blown apart" to showcase features.
