  1. That's one pretty pickup! Love the color, and the wheels are very attractive.
  2. Excellent workin' man's truck. The roads around here were full of these for years, but few so clean!
  3. That gray looks NICE!
  4. Ambitious. Best of luck! Will look mean as heck when you pull it off!
  5. Even in .jpg, you should be able to choose the saved resolution, and thus the file size. No reason to save at maximum now that even modest equipment is capable of high resolutions that are fine if you actually intend to PRINT the pics. For viewing on screens (like here on the forum) more moderate resolutions are good enough to show up as a large image. I get a little perturbed at threads that are image-heavy with pics at super high resolution; they take a while to load even with a good internet connection speed. Half their resolution would look just as good on screen, and take a small fraction of bandwidth with a very much reduced file size.
  6. ...and you haven't even discovered Custom Rodder magazine yet!
  7. Another nice one! How many of these cover cars do you plan on doing, or is there no self-imposed limit?!

    The Matador

Perfect funky ol' school custom, and that paint is FLAWLESS! Well done.
  9. Nice work! Looking forward to your progress.
  10. Plenty low for a nice street rod stance!
  11. Fantastic job on this kit! The color really makes it stand out, in my book.
  12. Man, that's pretty! Almost too clean to be a hot rod!
  13. +1 for the woody! All nice, but the understated shade of yellow works so well with delicately treated wood grain, this thing just oooozes COOL.
  14. You really helped this old mess along nicely. I think it makes a lousy Lincoln, but you've made a VERY attractive Kustom with what you had to start with! I don't think I've ever seen this kit look better. Your color is real knockout, would you mind sharing what paint that is? This is an ex Pyro kit from WAAAY back, and boy does it show when you open the box. Did you notice how the back side of the grille is more appealing than the front side?! I have to grandstand a little bit about this kit, as Lindberg re-released this thing back in the 90s or so right in the midst of their newly tooled kits, and Ibought one thinking it would be similar to their '53 Ford, and I couldn't have been more disappointed. You've restored my faith that something can be salvaged from it after all! VERY well done.
  15. Great idea to paint the hood black; it minimizes the awkward nostrils that can be so distracting on this body. Good move! You made a fine looking street machine out of a so-so design. Well done.
  16. What a great example of land yacht beauty and excess! Very nice color, is that something you mixed up or...? Very cool job on saving an oldie AND goody.
  17. Colors are working out very well! I'd be tempted to darken the carpet to more closely mimic the darker tones of the seats; the upholstery looks very nice two-toned in those colors.
  18. Lookin' good in silver! Almost has a bare metal look. Shame about the tail lights.
  19. Good start!
  20. Decals can be a pain, but boy does your green paint look nice! Chassis detail looks good, too. Pretty car!
  21. What a perfect color for the Chevelle! Great looking build, clean and realistic appurtenance. Well done.
  22. Nicely done! +1 on your color, it's a beauty!
  23. Keep the color, maybe a contrasting roof/ Black, or India ivory? Just sayin...?
  24. Maybe too late, and these are earlier body, but i doubt much changed underneath:
