  1. Agreed! I'd be tempted to repaint the steelies with the same green in your logo. It's a shop truck; show the shop colors!
  2. Added and corrected details like you've done on this add up to such a better, more accurate model. Excellent modeling.
  3. I also like that you went with a painted bumper; looks proper for a GTO.
  4. Floorpan is looking good, got any pics of that painted body? Will be following along, always liked the Corvair body lines. Good model kit.
  5. Greetings from the correct side of the Ohio River, Kentucky! Seriously, good folks and interesting modelers here, all with something to share.
  6. Nice build, and your added foil work really sets it apart.
  7. That color really comes alive in the daylight. It appeared darker in the build pics! Really nice work on this one, and you nailed the stance, it has a realistic "sit" that looks showroom perfect. Well done.
  8. That is simply beautiful model building . Very subtle yet striking modifications, and the paintwork is gorgeous on both. I have a long-stalled extended cab '50 project myself, and I hope to achieve your level of success with it. VERY well done.
  9. Wow, those are some nasty sink marks! I have a couple of these in storage, bought when the tool was new, and I don't recall such issues, but this makes me want to dig 'em out and look. Kudos to Can-Con for pointing out the intake error; that would have been easy to overlook!
  10. I love it! It looks even better than expected, and I had high expectations! Fun stuff. Take your time on that pilot, and this will be such a nice display. You're making me want one or two of these...
  11. Good job on this. The Rallyes look perfect on there! Looks like nice, even metallic, not always the case with plastic! (tends to swirl ) Well done.
  12. Good, clean build of a less than stellar kit! Love your paintwork.
  13. That's a wild change from what's in the box! Nice job. Have any pics of the real car?
  14. Looking good in red!
  15. Nice. The finish and color are especially noteworthy! Well done.
  16. +1 on your paint finish; excellent body and paint. The color is STUNNING! Well done.
  17. All nice, but the '56 is SHARP! Don't Cragars look perfect on a'57?! Well done.
  18. Beautiful body and paint work! This is the best build of that kit I've ever seen. It gets passed by a lot, but has funky 70s show car potential. Wasn't this a Tom Daniel design?
  19. Excellent model making here. Can't wait to see the end result!
  20. Color looks FINE! Stripes like the illustration will look nice on this.
  21. Very cool project here. Both really beautiful cars; always liked the Olds bodies from this era. The models are shaping up nicely!
  22. That looks SO good. Excellent work on the vinyl top; you sweated all the details to get it RIGHT. I like that you chose the less common shade of blue for that year, it really makes your model stand out. Well done.
  23. Hadn't seen these, assuming there are more of this type? I like it, and have always been a fan of the egg-plane kits and more recent Meng WorldWarToons kits. A good caricature appeals to me, whether it is in 2D or 3D, and this one is nicely rendered! ( Huge fan of Deal's Wheels ) I'm surprised at the complexity, the molding is crisp and quite impressive, and it should make a fine display. Thanks for sharing this.
  24. Another possibility: you may want to keep an eye out for a 1/32 Revell (I think) Ford Bronco. I think it's a snap kit, but can't recall for sure. ( I actually have one buried in my stash somewhere from years past) It has a nice little set of 5-hole aluminum slots in it! Just another that popped into my head; not much to choose from in 1/32!
  25. Fantastic! Tasty color scheme, and yards of chrome foil neatly applied! Well done.
