  1. Good job on this. The Rallyes look perfect on there! Looks like nice, even metallic, not always the case with plastic! (tends to swirl ) Well done.
  2. Good, clean build of a less than stellar kit! Love your paintwork.
  3. That's a wild change from what's in the box! Nice job. Have any pics of the real car?
  4. Looking good in red!
  5. Nice. The finish and color are especially noteworthy! Well done.
  6. +1 on your paint finish; excellent body and paint. The color is STUNNING! Well done.
  7. All nice, but the '56 is SHARP! Don't Cragars look perfect on a'57?! Well done.
  8. Beautiful body and paint work! This is the best build of that kit I've ever seen. It gets passed by a lot, but has funky 70s show car potential. Wasn't this a Tom Daniel design?
  9. Excellent model making here. Can't wait to see the end result!
  10. Color looks FINE! Stripes like the illustration will look nice on this.
  11. Very cool project here. Both really beautiful cars; always liked the Olds bodies from this era. The models are shaping up nicely!
  12. That looks SO good. Excellent work on the vinyl top; you sweated all the details to get it RIGHT. I like that you chose the less common shade of blue for that year, it really makes your model stand out. Well done.
  13. Hadn't seen these, assuming there are more of this type? I like it, and have always been a fan of the egg-plane kits and more recent Meng WorldWarToons kits. A good caricature appeals to me, whether it is in 2D or 3D, and this one is nicely rendered! ( Huge fan of Deal's Wheels ) I'm surprised at the complexity, the molding is crisp and quite impressive, and it should make a fine display. Thanks for sharing this.
  14. Another possibility: you may want to keep an eye out for a 1/32 Revell (I think) Ford Bronco. I think it's a snap kit, but can't recall for sure. ( I actually have one buried in my stash somewhere from years past) It has a nice little set of 5-hole aluminum slots in it! Just another that popped into my head; not much to choose from in 1/32!
  15. Fantastic! Tasty color scheme, and yards of chrome foil neatly applied! Well done.
  16. Excellent build, and great job on your color mix! That's a standout machine.
  17. That looks like they used extra red pigment in the plastic! Good looking cars, though, and blue will be a shocking change from the ultra-red, in a good way!
  18. Very happy that worked out for you. No real problems?
  19. Glad you revived this one! Love me some squarebirds, and I was digging the Vette caps on it. On those gold wheels it occurs to me you might cut one down by cutting away the rim and filing the center diameter to drop into one of the stock rims that you file the center out of, then cast copies.
  20. Nice use of color; a very wicked looking racer!
  21. That interior is impressive in its realism!
  22. Beautiful, clean model with a realistic stance. Very nice job all around! One to be proud of for sure.
  23. It's a great looking display! The base and groundwork give it a strong sense of reality ( along with all your meticulous detail work ). Well done.
  24. That minty green '53 is going to look gorgeous!
