That's a gorgeous color on that Impala. I could see that same color decanted , mixed with a touch of white, and cleared with a matte clear making a nice interior color as well. Can't wait to see you finish that one!

I'd bet dollars to donuts that this will pop apart relatively easily. While the builder was pretty generous with his glue, most of it appears to be laying on the surface, and most parts don't appear to be tightly fitted. Look forward to watching your WIP! Also, before resorting to chemicals, I'd put it in a hot soapy water bath overnight, and then see what happens.

What's not to love?! You had a specific goal on this one, and you surpassed it. This one was fun to watch come together, and ended up a top shelf custom.

That's a beauty! Molding and smoothing the chromework, and the monochromatic paint scheme really cleans up the lines of the squarebird. I love these cars in all their versions from bone stock to wild custom. This is a nicely modernized custom. The engine is particularly nice! Very well done all around.
