  1. A KIng Handler, very creative!
  2. The AMT '79 Bronco in either original or cool retro box art would be peachy.
  3. Think that's good? DPS used to be really sneaky in the '90s. They had a few mid-'90s Thunderbirds with tinted windows, metallic paint, wire wheel covers, and whitewall tires running up and down the 60. The speeders never stood a chance; when one of those came behind you and you saw the red and blue wig-wags behind the grille, you were pretty well hosed. They also had a few dark-colored Monte Carlos. People complained, as people do.
  4. Righteous. I like the general shape of the 46s better, but the 48s are very aggressive.
  5. Far out, Man.
  6. Just got mine in from an ebay seller in Japan. I replaced the white plastic bushing with a 5x11mm ball bearing (the most common size in Tamiya R/C cars) left over from my old R/C days. Nice little drill, really torquey too. Sure beats spinning drill bits with my fingers.
  7. 1963 Falcon Sprint 1964 Galaxie Squire wagon 1968 Mercury Park Lane Brougham 4dr hardtop (Hawaii Five-0) 1971 AMC Hornet SC 360 1973 Monte Carlo SS 454 1978-83 Fairmont Futura coupe
  8. I have a pay Photobucket account. The service and speed are much better than when I used it for free, and pic views in a forum are infinitely allowable.
  9. Looks great, love the gas stain on the cab 1/4. Great diorama scene, really brings the model to life.
  10. '73-'74 and '75-'77 are different. I don't have any others, but Kris Morgan of M.A.D. Resin offers both styles, very cleanly cast. I've seen them, recommended. -MJS
  11. I like it! The Nova sedan delivery is one of the most natural looking phantoms yet devised. Like the Falcon delivery, it should have been produced. Great job.
  12. Just the thing for my morning commute!
  13. The Mark VII was shortened to fit the T bird chassis, and the body has to be lengthened in the front section of the rear 1/4 panels. The trunk would also have to be re-contoured once the stretch was made. Tricky mods to be sure. I contemplated doing this long ago for a replica stock MK VII, but never did it. Then, a resin caster (AAM?) did it, and it was a nice looking conversion. OOP for a long time now.
  14. Never heard of a 428 FT. FT usually stands for Ford Truck, and was used for the truck-only 360, as well as larger displacement engines in heavy trucks. In Cobras, only FE series engines were used in the big block cars. Some had 427s, and others had 428 PI (police interceptors) due to supply problems with the racier 427. They appear nearly identical under the hoods of Cobra, with the same intake, exhaust, and valve covers.
  15. I built the Quicksilver as a kid, and it was one of my favorite cars. I always thought that it was pure genius on Tom Daniel's part to use El Camino doors on the sedan delivery body for the slanted B pillars, which takes a lot of the blockiness away and gives it a sleeker custom look. Someday I'll build another one.
  16. I liked the Pinto because it still looks mostly like a Pinto. I never got into the Vega because although it's a neat custom in itself, it looks nothing like a Vega - or even based on a Vega.
  17. I wonder if they still have the four door promo tooling?
  18. Great job. I built this kit when it was new, similarly detailed. I bought it for something different, and it went together well. I did alter the front suspension a bit to pull the front wheels into the fenders. I liked the weird blue color the kit was molded in, so I polished the plastic and it looked pretty nice. One of the other Moonlight members and I bought a table at a swap meet, and I sold off a bunch of built cars that I still kick myself for doing. This was one of them. If I can ever 3D print a time machine...
  19. Great build, and that color really sets it apart.
  20. Very nice, Mark. The Chevelle roof makes it look sleeker and more stylish than a factory '69 Belvedere wagon.
  21. Looks like a 240 retractable hardtop.
  22. Great detail and weathering. The grunge is spot-on.
