  16. Great looking models James. Customs are definitely fun to build.
  17. I use DupliColor clear on almost all of my models and the only time I've had it "fog" or blush is when the humidity is high. It is great stuff and as long as you spray it on in light coats every 10 minutes or so and build it up you shouldn't have any problems. It works well over decals as long as you spray light coats and build it up, and it polishes out very nicely using either polishing cloths or Novus 2 polish. Just give it a good day or two to fully harden up and gas out.
  18. Thank you very much guys. Bruce, thanks for the very kind words, but "The Force" is not with me...... I still have much to learn. Patience is the main thing, and also the hardest thing to learn and to have. I soooo want to get this car painted but I have to give the primer the proper time to dry on the body, hood, dashboard, and interior side panels. That's why it's good to work on different assemblies as other parts are drying. Eventually it all comes together into a decent finished product if we take our time and do it right .
  19. Yeah, I really wish that the Floquil/Polly S line of water based model railroad jar paints wasn't dropped. I loved using them for the base coat and "glue" for flocking interiors. Those paints dried dead flat and were perfect for detailing interiors. As in all things in this life we must learn to "go with the flow" and "change with the times"...... Sorry for being so philosophical here.
  20. Thank you Tom and Tim. Instead of working on the chassis as planned, I started work on the interior parts. The carpet is flocked in a Dark Brown color which came out really nice. The seats were painted a Dark Tan and Leather colors. I'll post pictures when the paint dries.
  21. Very nice models Tony.
  22. Those are great looking models Stan.
  23. Nice stuff Tony. I've also been into ALL of the 1950's cars for the past couple of years and I'm trying to build every one I can. Welcome to our plastic playground. You'll love it here.
  24. Nice work Jeff.
  25. Thank you all very much guys. Richard, yes that is a small piece of thin copper wire that I bent for the fuel line.
