  7. You're correct in that most reputable resin casters make stuff as they get orders because it does not pay for them to carry a lot of unsold inventory. My only experience has been with Modelhaus, Replicas & Miniatures Co. of MD, M.A.D., and Ed Fluck. With these resin casters, waiting awhile for your order is usually the norm, but well worth the wait due to the quality of their products. Yes, it can be frustrating to have to wait for months for something that you want "now", but that's just the nature of the beast. I just placed my "final" order with Modelhaus and I'm pretty sure I won't be receiving it until November or December, but they won't bill me for it until they ship it...... It'll be my Christmas present to myself .
  8. That's a great looking Ford Aaron.
  9. Welcome to our plastic playground Myron.
  10. Some of my favorite toys way-back-when...... The Fort Apache play set with the plastic snap-together fort walls, the tin cabin/bldg., and all the soldiers and Indians... I spent countless hours playing with that on the living room floor. A Fanner 50 pistol/revolver with 2 piece snap-together bullets...... I was always hunting around for the front piece of the bullets... A battery operated 30 Cal(?) machine gun on a tripod with a belt that fed white plastic bullets into the gun that would shoot out but not very far... I used to chase our Irish Setter dog around the house shooting the soft bullets at her...... she wound up getting me back by chewing up the bullets.
  11. Another master of the Kustom World who will be missed. R.I.P Mr. Hines.
  12. Welcome to our plastic playground Mia.
  13. Count me in as a supporter if needed too. I'm also retired with lots of free time...
  14. They're not kits, but I have a couple of Welly diecast cars in 1/26 scale which are just slightly smaller than 1/25. I have 1/24, 1/25 & 1/26 scale cars in my 1950's cars collection. The slight difference in size does not really bother me because I can fill in the "holes" in my collection with the different scale cars.
  15. Welcome to our plastic playground Dimas.

  19. You did a great job on that Chrysler Jason. I've got one of these in my large TO DO pile.
  20. I should be there sometime around 6 PM on Friday with my buddy Tom Valenta. He's driving up to western PA by Wednesday evening from his home in NC. We'll hang out at my home on Thursday, and hit the road to NJ by about noon on Friday the latest. I'll be bringing 4 models with me ('25 Ford T-Bucket, '56 Cadillac, '56 Mercury, and '56 Chrysler for the NNL 30 Theme. Besides meeting people in the Ramada's lobby, I'll be meeting 2 old friends, one of whom I used to be in a band with, for dinner & Margaritas at the Tilted Kilt. Should be a great reunion as I haven't seen my old band mate in 16 years.
  21. That's a great looking Hudson Mike.
  22. That is awesome Bill. I look forward to seeing it in person at the NNL.
  23. Great to hear that all is now well... Congratulations Jim.
