I used to swear by this clear, now I won't touch it. I assume they changed the formula(?)

M.A.D. - Kris Morgan ... absolutely awesome!

Honestly, I've considered trying to do a Grand Ville, but I'm not convinced it would sell well. The Ninety-Eight might not either, but in the beginning I was building it for me. Several people expressed interest, so I decided to have it cast. One very talented individual intends to modify my Ninety Eight into a 4 door version. I'll have to get one of those! A '71 version.

Kris is the man. Really nice guy. I'd like to get up to Detroit before the year is out, and hang out with the gang...of which Kris is a member. By the way, if you see this, Kris, I have a master project in mind you might want to discuss. -
1/25 AMT 1970.5 Camaro Z28 - Full Bumper
Repstock replied to Casey's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
There are no pronounced ridges here as on the kit. A relatively easy fix, though. LOVE the full-bumper version! -
I need to finish mastering the parts. The rest is up to my caster.

Funny...that's exactly what I intend to base the bumper on. I just stripped the chrome on it.

This model is based on the Juha Airio 1971 Delta 88 Royale kit. Juha has approved this conversion. It is a master for an upcoming resin offering. Please excuse the picture quality.

If you do want to build the trailer, I've done it before. Really nice job on the Firebird! https://jimsuva.typepad.com/blog/2019/03/the-rockford-files-124th-scale-diorama.html

Would you buy this compressor for airbrush use?

They seem to love it! https://myairbrushcompressors.com/review-master-tc-20t/ -
Not too bad, except for the fingers.

THIS IS NOT RIVET COUNTING! I'm just making some observations for those who may want to know. I'm thrilled to have the kit, and I already have two. I'm not going to pick on proportions, only black-and-white things. Here we go: The grille outside the headlights should have as many bars as the grille. I think the arrangement on the kit is SS only. I don't think a 4 door would have the rear seat speaker. That was a 2 door only thing. The front bumper guards are molded into the front end, so they go all the way to the grille- there is no space between front bumper guard and grille (the rears are separate). The Chevrolet script in the grille is too high, probably to clear the bumper guard. In real life, part of the script would be behind the bumper guard. That's it from a casual glance. I am glad they did the kit. Really looks cool.

New Dodge build

I'd love to build a stock Swinger some day. When the time comes, mind if I pick your brain? -

This board seems populated with encouraging builders. Thanks for your comments...it's a good for the motivation. That being said, if something looks like BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH, tell me so I can fix it. -

Multiply measurement by 25 to restore it to 1:1 measurement, then divide by 87. -

Mastering a '69 2 door has been on my to-do list, but it's about 30 projects from the top of the list. -

Progress continues. The weathering effect looks strange in these pictures, I'm not sure why. I'm wondering now if I should stay with the flatbed or make this a box truck. What do you think? -
Started a new master...

I need to get back on this, but stalled out making the windshield buck for vacuforming. -

I've been working on other projects along with this one, but I've gotten a little further, and established the "look" of the Dodge. -

I've gotten some things done on the chassis. I made the side rails, so there was no detail to start with, thus the added plumbing and bolts. -

I mastered that F-700. The damaged parts have been repaired. Contact Kevin at Missing Link (kawifreek@msn.com). The F-700 should be available now. By the way, I fixed a few things on it. The door handles should not have been the flip type like on the pickup, but older pull types. The dash is now better, too. The grille mold was damaged, so I sent him my original grille master. If I had it to do over, I would have put the Moebius engine compartment on it, too. Give him a shout. I considered doing a medium duty Ford based on the Moebius cab, but it was deemed not different enough from this one.
