  1. I would foil that trim if it were mine. Headlights turned out sweet
  2. Should be red oxide with body color overspray, blacked out rear wheel wells and rocker pinch weld. Black rear end, center section in red oxide. Natural springs and gas tank. A friend of mine just finished a 1:1 71 mach and is halfway through a 1:1 71 boss 351. Both spectacular concours trailered cars
  3. Just make some of these for those headers. These are on a 1100hp C6 Z
  4. Very nice. My cousin has an 81z in the light met blue/ blue stripes/ blue interior. He bought it new. It's a no option car. No Ts no console no nothing. It's a 4 speed car. He has had a few big blocks in it but now it's a chalk mark resto car that sits in the garage lol
  5. Very nice jim!! I can't wait to get back to the bench. 2, possibly 3 more games and hockey season is done
  6. That's the die cast engine I'm pretty sure. Looks good though
  7. She's a beauty Tyrone
  8. Looks good. Foil and black on the tail lights would put it out of the park
  9. Awesome!! How does one get that shelby? I NEED that kit
  10. What did you use for wheel backs on the steelies? On mine I used wheel backs from the 72 cutlass that use the pins like this kit. Worked like a charm
  11. Cast that hood!
  12. Good work on getting the shaker base to fit. Did you try it with the hood? The base posts need to be trimmed too. I and a few others found this on ours
  13. Motorcraft is a Ford division too...
  14. Wow! Ok, I'm going to put this out there right now. For the headlights, trim off the mounting posts on the bulbs. Glue the posts into the buckets from the rear so it fills the holes. Once they dry trim the exess so you can detail out the buckets. The lights will look 100x better in the end
  15. Good start. Why an auto lite sticker on battery? That's Ford replacement parts. I would have went with black plug wires myself too as it looks pretty stock. Have you checked to make sure the shaker base will still fit? I know on mine and a few others there is no room for the wiring. Very little at best
  16. I would not have blackened the headlight or quarter cap lines as they are quite tight on the 1:1. Also black wash is not always the best. I just go a shade or two darker than body color. On that red I would use a maroon. It's just adding a shadow
  17. I've had no issues with the old monogram cuda
  18. I've got something for you on the window assembly, a trick I've done a couple times. What I did here was cut styrene to fit in all the holes of the glass setup. Glue it all in and smooth it out, then I used masking tape and overlapped it where the top bows are. I just used pictures of the 1:1. I added the courtesy lights and visors.
  19. That's a nice combo! Will it have the white tail stripe?
  20. It's a bit of everything. I was more of a shelby american fan when Carroll was still with us. Now they are riding the wave. I had the pleasure of meeting the man when I was dropping off my 07 for the 40th anniversary conversion in Vegas. Quite a guy. Very nice and wanted us taken care of. The prices of parts are steep compared to doing things yourself but you do get the almighty vin with these cars. I want to super snake my 14 but I can no longer get it done in Vegas due to import laws with suspension and stuff. I can't bring myself to have it done at one of the outside Vegas mod shops. Just not the same
  21. Dupli color makes hemi Orange. I never really noticed before but it has gold flake in it. It's pretty cool. I may use it on a body one day.
  22. I saw my shadow. I'm a '76 groundhog. Very accurate
