  1. Been hotter than hades for far too long and in dire need of some rain. Last night we had rain and thunder and lightning along with at least 2 to 3 inches of rain. The talking heads on TV think we'll be in the mid - 70s tonight and I have already wiped off the patio furniture for these evening's festivities.
  2. Saw something similar yesterday while shopping at Home Depot. I have used the item that you would soak in water and wring out before putting it over your head and around your neck to keep your head and neck coo while working outside in the heat. Now they are offering much the same thing but as a short or long sleeve shirt. Might be something to look at, didn't notice any unpleasant odors.
  3. Great paint finish and the decals for the Carbon Fiber are nice and smooth.
  4. Great paint finish and clean body trim. Like the engine detailing and the interior.
  5. Great color combination with the contrasting interior color.
  6. Great looking paint color and finish. Clean body trim.
  7. Thank you for the pictures. Great looking builds.
  8. The S-10 chassis under an early GM pickup has become an economic chassis swap on the 1:1 trucks.
  9. Beautiful smooth paint finish and this shade of Blue looks fantastic. Clean body trim and the side boards. like the chassis detailing.
  10. The owner should love looking at your build. Beautiful paint finish and of course the color is the same as well.
  11. The induction setup looks like it was designed for this application.
  12. I think the later, '55 & '56 model years, had some sort of sunshade that would go on the inside of the glass roof portion to block the sun. With time this may be gone now if it even ever had one. The point is this is something a guy could make and maybe use some Velcro to hold in place when needed. By the way I have always liked the '54's styling.
  13. All the different levels give you an opportunity to setup a lot of different scenarios.
  14. Like the clean looking White paint color and the Hood Decal of course. Always liked the look of the front end on this body style with the blanked-out grill.
  15. Convertible or Wagon body style?
  16. The only issue I encountered was the distance between the rear package tray and the body. The kits coupe interior represents a shorter interior than what you would find in a longer slant back body style. I just added some material to extend the rear package tray. The fit between the resin body and the kits trim and chassis was much like you would deal with on any other build.
  17. Doesn't matter what your favorite brand of car or truck may be, when you see a nice car like this Couger in this condition you still have to appreciate it for what it is.
  18. It's cheaper than putting it in a box for protection.
  19. About 8 pm last night while sitting on the patio and the Golfers had all gone, we noticed the wildlife started coming out of the wooded areas and into the yard and the golf course. In a matter of minutes, we had 4 or 5 rabbits chasing each other around, a half dozen or more robins working the grass areas and finches and cardinals on the feeder. With the golf cart traffic gone they reclaim the back yard and the green.
  20. Saturday afternoon my wife setup some fans so we could try and enjoy our patio. Been in the low 90's and high humidity so sitting out has been an uncomfortable experience for us. The temp was in the mid 80's and a slight overcast with a gentle breeze. Nice just listening to the birds and watch the Golfers go by enjoyed a bottle of Pino Gris that we picked up on a recent trip to Michigan.
  21. Talk about your giant Turkey Legs!
  22. Like the way the display tables are set up with raised teres so that the models on the back of the display tables are more visible.

Great looking black paint job and the interior color and finish are a nice contrast. Like the wheels and the big disc brakes.
  24. Like the Gasser style and the paint color and finish look great. Once you start modifying a basic model everything seems to snowball from there.
