  1. What I find the most interesting about your build is all of the small details that you created for the interior. Great attention to the painted chassis that otherwise is pretty undistinguishable. Like the paint finish and color.
  2. Great looking paint finish and bright color. Wouldn't lose this in the parking lot.
  3. Beautiful looking convertible. Amazing just how nice these turn out with just attention to clean assembly and painting.
  4. Great color combination and finish. Not many even know about the 265 V8 engine available in the '57.
  5. Great looking color and all the painted detailing looks good.
  6. Very realistic looking paneling.
  7. Looks as if this builder found an old Fire Engine and turned it into a car hauler.
  8. Great looking taillights on this '56, and the Bumpers look like they fit well.
  9. Look forward to seeing your '69 Camaro build. Mine was Hugger Orange with Black interior, I added the factory spoilers and redid the suspension on it. I had also owned a '68 for a short time but didn't have the money to do what I wanted with it, so I flipped it. The Revell Z-28 kit, with the blue car on the box, seems to me to be the best one to base a build off of.
  10. There was talk a long time ago about a Falcon sedan Delivery being used at the LAX facility at one time. As I recall it was white with the blue stripes.
  11. Didn't see any car fires, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. People driving like their hair was on fire not even taking road conditions into account. I see the lady is still on her phone. Wonder if that's her car in the background.
  12. Put some grass seed down in the bald spots in the back yard Wednesday , so the snow Wednesday night could push it into the soil.
  13. Neat to have.
  14. Having owned a '67 El Camino years ago I'll have to check this out.
  15. The pickups and the GTO are a must have for myself. I'm wondering about the reason behind the lack of engines. I realize a lot of builders may be doing an engine swap anyway, but most would just modify the kits engine.
  16. Beautiful looking paint and the mechanical detailing really adds to the realistic look. Like the added over head shade, those are very necessary without a hardtop.
  17. Great looking body conversion. The paint color looks great on this body style.
  18. Beautiful looking finishes and the chassis colors and under hood detailing all look dead on. I just got my model yesterday, any issues at all with your build? I had a '10 Charger RT AWD and now have a '19 Charger GT also with AWD. Plan to make a few mods on this kit to represent the '19.
  19. Saw this pop up and thought you were back after it.
  20. Fantastic. I remember your previous NY Bug build. I'll be checking in on this build, daily.
  21. I come from that era and was a Chevrolet - aholic. and also had a '69 Camaro for 18 years. When little boys were playing Cowboys and Indians or Army I was playing with toy cars. Somethings in life have never changed, I guess.
  22. Great looking old Chevy. The old 292 was an under rated engine even back when they were common in many Drag Classes. The high gears may hurt the acceleration a little, but the 292 is a torque engine. The body looks pretty clean, especially considering its age. Had a '52 during my misspent youth but it was a stock 215 3 speed.
  23. The Round 2 / AMT '21 Dodge Charger kit finally came in at my model shop. I got in the car and drove thru a fresh 3" layer of snow to go pick it up. My observation is this kit is every bit as good as I had hoped. My only question is why people that live in this part of the world where you know it's going to snow from time to time and never seem to figure out how to drive in it. Several of the major hiways were actually shut down because of accidents, we're talking about 6 lane divided hiways. Lots of cars in the ditch and center divides with extensive body damage and some just abandoned.
  24. Maybe they'll bring back some of the other old AMT engine kits. The 283 used to be offered with a 421 Pontiac engine.
  25. One nice thing to remember with his little presentations is that you get to see what the parts in the kit look like and how well they fit together. MPC and AMT along with others all seem to have a few older klunker kits that need some help getting them to look right. Watching these presentations, you can determent if the kit is something you would want to build. You can decide if you want to build it, use it for parts, or whatever. I think it is invaluable information before you put your money down based on a box art for a subject you would like to build only to find out it's good for parts or little else.
