  1. Like the hint of rust on the finish and the big tires.
  2. Beautiful looking replica of a masterpiece Kustom.
  3. Nice vibrant shade of blue.
  4. Great paint work and engine detailing. I also enjoy the paint used and have polished models in the past within 24 hours of painting with no issues.
  5. Great looking paint finish and colors. Nice clean engine.
  6. Like the back story, not enough people in this world like your friend. I'm sure you will make something very special for him.
  7. The part that worries me is they drive among us.
  8. After a good cleaning of the resin parts, get a spray can of an automotive type of self-etching primer. This will give most model and craft type paints something to cling to since they don't seem to do well over bare resin parts.
  9. At the time that I owned a station wagon, they just weren't cool for someone in my age group. The first one was a '59 Impala Wagon that a guy traded to me along with a few hundred in cash for a cherry '57 Ford Customline two-door. While the cars was in excellent shape and no rust, this was in 1966, I just couldn't appreciate the thing. I sold it and bought back that '57 Ford. A couple of years later I bought a new '68 Chevy needed to sell the '57 to help with the down payment. This time I toke a one owner '58 Chevy Yoeman two door wagon in trade again with some cash. At the time I again did some "horse trading" to git rid of the wagon. Looking back now this was a big mistake on my part. The '58 Chevy had the 283 with a 4bbl. carb. and a 3-speed Overdrive. To soon old to late smart, I guess.
  10. As mentioned, The Amish would most likely have ready access to eggs. Don't think many are playing the Lottery though. It's a joke, ha ha ha.
  11. You can find the RS Grills and the standard grill both in many of the Revell '69 model year kits. Ci is offering a couple of fender flare and body kits also. As for hot rod parts look for the Revell '69 Camaro Z-28 kit with the blue car on the box art. Even has the Chambered Exhaust in it.
  12. If it matters, I owned a '72 Nova SS way back when. So, they hold a special place for me personally and basically, they are a Camaro with a sedan body. They sure fooled the Insurance companies at the time.
  13. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Like looking at all the small details you added under the hood and the chassis. Great looking interior detail as well. Cragers look good with this stance.
  14. Interesting how the original builder did the suspension. Might have been his way of getting the model to sit lower.
  15. Great looking paint finish and love the color.
  16. Great looking build, and in the pictures with the background it looks very realistic.
  17. The body looks nice and smooth, and I like the hardtop look as well. Like the stance and the wheels.
  18. Great looking paint and trim. So used to seeing one of the where you would need a rope ladder to get in, nice to see one dropped and the roof proportions look correct.
  19. The exhaust looks like it was made for this little truck.
  20. I picked up a book on the Camaro many years ago written by Michael Lamm called The Great Camaro. The book was published in 1979 and Mr. Lamm had gotten a lot of development information as well as option information and many production numbers. I looked at it today and was unable to find the number of cars sold with the exterior trim levels outside of the Super Sport, Rally Sport, and the Z-28. The book does list the number of total production for each model year for both domestic as well as export. The book also lists the number of cars sold with a V-8, but not by horsepower rating, 6-Cylinder, 3 or 4 spd. trans. as well as auto. The listings include the number of cars that were sold with Air Cond., Power Steering, and Power Windows. The numbers the book provides for 1967 states that they sold 220,917 total including 13,868 export cars. I would be glad to share any of this information if you think it would be needed for your build, or if you are just curious about the number they show as sold.
  21. That's one of the times you wish you had a $50 car and made sure they took off your fender.
  22. Like Hot Curl's woody, especially the two-door body style. Where did you get all of his lady friends?
  23. Beautiful looking paint finish and I like the color. The custom body work frenched head lights and taillights, along with the smooth hood look great.
  24. Great looking build. I like the surfer look. The surfer dude has a real Long Board.
