West KC Metro area was in the 70's and breeze on Tuesday, down to mid 30's Wednesday and trying it's best to spit snow. Thursday we're in the mid 50's. One thing about Spring is the weather can be interesting no matter where you live.

Beautiful paint color combination and the accurate looking colorful interior that Ford offered. Clean looking body trim.

Great looking paint color and goes well with the contesting interior. Like how you did the detail painting of the engine and chassis.

Matt's suggestion for a glue should be a consideration or something along that order. Another option that I have used is the old Future Floor polish. Also removing and foil from the small contact area where the window meets the body would also give whatever type of adhesive you use a better contact with the body. Les mentioned painting the edge of the glass black, and since the 1:1 car has a pronounced black rubber seal with a small chrome trim part in it that would be one way to do that.

Similar problems at our local market as well. In addition to packaged pre-sliced cheese that was still in dated as good, but when opened had mold on the Swiss and some dusty white type of residue on the Chedder slices. Based on past experience this has to do with the market not maintaining what is called the "Cooled Chain". This is when the market does not keep the chesses properly refrigerated from when they receive the product and when it is put in the sales coolers.

The rusted finish on the body looks great, but the interior details are what really caught my eye. The engine and chassis are both well done as well. The tread pattern on the tires is cool looking. Thank you for mentioning all the different parts used as it does give a formula for someone to follow.

Beautiful looking paint finish and the white stripes set off the red paint well. Great detailing on the engine and interior. Like the Day Two look.

new windshield options for AMT 1959 Galaxie
espo replied to gtx6970's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Look around for the thinnest clear plastic you can find. I Have some sheets of clear that I got at an office supply store that could also be printed on, around the .010" thickness. -

Maybe use the original windshield as a dimensional guide to form a new windshield from thin clear plastic. -
All true with many birds and male Cardinals seem normally even more so. That said, the two feeders in our back yard have been a lifeline this winter to our fine feathered friends. We have at least four and five males at one time eating or waiting their turn on the one feeder and I have seen up to three female cardinals at one time as well. They all seem to get along with no issues. As for the rubbing of the beak on a tree branch, I have seen others doing that as well and wondered if it may be like us rubbing our nose or something like that.

Great looking tow truck. The paint color gives a different personality to the overall look than the basic white used on so many tow trucks. -
Great looking redo.

Great looking paint finishes and color. Like the interior detailing and the interior light helps to show it off when displayed. The Ansen style wheels were popular when these cars were new.

I wouldn't be too worried about the damage to the lower body since you're going for the beater look anyway.

Just because you can doesn't mean that you should do this.

Wonder if the eclipse of the Moon last night might have anything to do with sleep issues.
