1968 Mercury M350 Wrecker

Your great story explains the accurate looking patina finish on this. The bed and boom look very realistic. The cracked windshield is a nice touch. -
Like the sinister look of the matt black paint, blacked out chrome trim and the stance. Reminds me of a car I saw at a show this last summer.
-
Beautiful paint finish and the color is one of my favorites on this model of car. Clean looking engine and realistic interior finishes.
-
Still a great looking paint finish even after all this time. Like the engine detailing.

Great looking paint work and like the signage. -
Beautify done body and paint. Your build looks just like the car in the pictures. A vehicle with this long on a wheelbase would be hard to drive around corners on narrow streets since you would start turning in the middle of the block.

Beautiful looking paint work and the body proportions look perfect. A must have for anyone with any interest in '60's era Mercury's.

It was almost a year ago that I bought a kit at the local store, and they haven't had any in stock for over 6 months. Not sure how they distribute the models to the stores, but this one has only the really small die cast toys.

Great looking paint finish and color. Like the interior details and the Crager wheels were almost considered standard equipment on MoPars at that time.
-
Great looking engine detailing.

The Overland Park Kansas Ollie's doesn't carry kits any longer.

Getting ready for the old rooter router myself. The doc wants to do top and bottom so he can shake hands in the middle. I will be sedated.

Please post any photos you get for those of us that are too far away to attend. -
Thanks Tom. The Moebius kits tend to have really well detailed chassis, engines and interiors. They also tend to require watching your fit and finish. I try and keep the instructions close by since I have caught myself deviating from their suggested assembly and found myself having to go back and correct things that I wouldn't have had to deal with if I had followed their instructions.

Beautiful looking Luxo Cruiser. Great paint finish and the chrome trim on the rear quarters and the roof sale panels look good.
-
Great looking paint finish and color. Like the stance and the wide whites. Good looking engine setup.

They make so much more money selling us F150's.

Maybe that sense they only race for a 1/4 mile in a straight line any additional drag from a spoiler may be counterproductive. As for your Henry, if you like it, so what put it on there.

I guess that's what you do if you have more winter than summer. Looks like a good cure for Cabin Feaver.

First day in the better part of a week with temps out of the sub-zero range. High today is supposed to be 10 degrees, and they have even promised some sun, maybe. Supposed to get into the lower 50's next week, what the heck is going on? Well, I got the cushions for the patio chairs ready anyway just in case.

I have done one or two in the past. They were actually wrong on a couple of the models, and it was obvious that they were wrong.

Hi Bob, The interior was done with TS-68 Wooden Deck Tan, and the seat and door trim designs were done with Tamiya Brown panel line accent. I dusted the interior with a flat clear to look more like a vinyl and cloth interior. The dash and upper doors were painted the same Testors Bronze color to match the body. Used some beige flocking for the floor and rear package tray.

Great looking build and like the fresh mud.
