Thank you for your tutorial on this kit. A thought on the rear spoiler being too wide. Since the 1:1 Camaro spoiler is three parts anyway, maybe cut the ends off where the trunk line is and then remove the needed material from the center section too correct the width. This may also better represent the natural opening between the ends on the trunk lid and fenders.

You are very lucky that you haven't been stopped, even if you have been obeying all traffic laws. As a much younger man I had a '69 Camaro in Hugger Orange. I would get stopped when I wasn't even doing anything wrong. I was the second and fourth owner of the car for a total of 9 years and it almost cost me my license through no fault of my own. So, count your lucky stars, and enjoy that beautiful ride.

A pair of plyers would be one approach. Also setting the bottles upside down in some hot water. Let it soak for a few minutes to see if the water can penetrate the hardened paint around the cap on the inside of the bottle.

I go to the Costco station whenever I'm in that area because of the price. The main price setter in our area is called QT or The Quick Trip. The one closes to our home is 298.9 and the ones close to the metro are at 287.9. They tend to price their gas at whatever they think the traffic will bare.

Stopped at Costco in Lenexa Ks a couple of days ago and paid 2.79.9 for regular top tier gas. The big difference is the state sales taxes on a gallon of gas.

This problem with cars and truck with powerful engines is nothing new if you were to look back to the '50's and 60's when these vehicles were termed as "Muscal Cars" we used to have bumper stickers that stated, "Stamp out lower performance drivers not high-performance cars". This was manly in response to high insurance rates on those of us under 35 years of age at the time. The horsepower race between manufacturers has been going on for a very long time. Someone mentioned the difference in the handling between a rear-wheel-drive vehicle and a front wheel vehicle and that is a true statement. I'm agreeing with this as a previous owner of both types of vehicles. Both have advantages as well as disadvantages depending on the road conditions, but the main issue remains with the person behind the wheel. I have observed either type of vehicle get in trouble through no fault of the vehicle and solely because of operator error.

I hear some Ford guys talk about a "Marti Report". They are supposed to be able to get copies of the original window sticker and list of factory equipment from there. Might be a place to look depending on how important that information might be to you.

Your description of the Lindberg kit is being kind. The blend of the Impala and the haul look great. You might Google "Chris Craft Century" boats for ideas that they used in the late fifties for a craft with a sliding roof on a luxury boat they offered.

Beautiful paint design and finishes. The short bed models were always more popular in the 1:1 version. Like the revers hinged hood (bonnet) and bed cover. The wheels and tires compliment the paint treatment, and the stance looks great.

I'm impressed with what you made out of the cab you started with. The cab could best be described as a lump. The chassis and fenders along with the bed makes this a great looking rat rod.
