  1. Great looking wagon. Great paint and vinyl roof. The chrome body trim is all cleanly done.

    Pair of 53 Studes

You have to be proud of your sod Study. I recall a neighbor who had a Studebaker with the same color combination. You mention the monochromatic look of your older build. In the '80's this look was often called the "Euro Look" over here. I still like it myself.
  3. Beautiful clean looking build. What color paint did you use? Like the wheels and tires plus the stance.
  4. I haven't built this kit but wonder if the stance has to do with the basic kit itself. I think the box art shows the model sitting much like this. The paint finish looks great, and the engine detailing is good as well.
  5. Looks like a more commonly seen Chevy II. Nice stock looking engine and chassis. The SS hub caps look good to enhance the look.
  6. In addition to the smooth looking paint, the color really compliments the body lines.
  7. With the attention to details that you are doing on these builds you might as well correct the bumpers as well.
  8. Nice paint and really clean looking body trim.
  9. Makes you wonder if the suitcases on the roof are watertight or just there for effect.
  10. I'm impressed by how the body turned out. I would have canalized this kit after stepping on it.
  11. Great looking color and finish. Like the stance along with the wheel and tire combination. Like the engine finishes and the blower.
  12. Rich looking Candy Green paint. Like the Highboy look and the stance. Great detailing on the Hemi and the chassis.
  13. Well-seasoned looking undercarriage.
  14. Great looking pictures, thank you for sharing. Like the up-close photos they show a lot of the detail on the builds.
  15. Popups are getting out of hand again.
  16. Hopefully someone will have pictures to share for those who can't attend.
  17. Lee Plastic's lenses were an inexpensive way to change the appearance of your taillights. I bought a set for my '57 Ford through the old J.C. Whitney catalog a very long time ago.
  18. Already have a standing order for the Charger at my local model shop, going to have to add the Aqua Van and Drag Boat.
  19. Really captured the look of the era. As Techman pointed out, putting washers between the hood hinges and the hood to raise the back edge was inexpensive modification at the time. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The interior looks great and is a good contrast to the body color. Like the way you detailed the engine.
  20. Great attention to the fine details. Lots of scratch-built components.
  21. Like the color. I had a neighbor who had a '69 Road Runner the same color that I coveted for years.
  22. Like the extensive chassis detailing. Nice hinges for the doors and the trunk and hood.
  23. Great looking paint finish. Like the engine and the stance.
  24. Particularly the last two.
  25. I have built several of his casting and have a few waiting. Beyond the normal cleanup they seem great.
