  1. I remember that engine now. Never saw one in person but do remember GMC advertising it for heavy duty applications. When I looked at the picture it just looked like two separate engines. Thanks for the info.
  2. Try a combination of a little Salza and Cha Cha. Lots of twirling and head twisting. Whatever the body feels like doing. Listen to this and try and sit still. Lots of luck with that.
  3. Unfortunate problem that seems too common for this brand. The problem has to do with the outer can holding the propellant but not the paint. Normally you can still use this to paint a model, but it may not have the same pressure. Suggest letting the can sit in some warm water before using, which you may be doing anyway. This will help expand the propellant that is left in the can.
  4. Now this would work to get the left lane sitters to move over.
  5. Beautiful looking builds. The last photo of the chopped and channeled sedan with two engines. Looking at the engines they look to me to be GMC truck V-6 engines with maybe 471 blowers and injection.
  6. While not the exact same shade of green, there used to be a green that was a fad and was often referred to as "Monkey Vomit Green". You would be correct; it was not meant as a compliment to the color.
  7. Your hinges are much improved over what the kit provided.
  8. Like I said this was a couple of years ago and I realize things have changed, but the manufacture was paying the dealer for the rental.
  9. I haven't had to deal with a recall for a while, lucky, I guess. But when I did the Dodge dealer gave me a car to drive until the finished our Charger.
  10. The safety part I understand, and I think that is a good idea. These guys are just moving along with traffic with no sign of leading vehicles, just going to lunch or a coffee break.
  11. When Ford sends you their customer survey be sure to mention the issues with the selling dealer. The manufacturers want to keep you asa a customer and if a dealer isn't being fair with a customer they really do want to know.
  12. I saw one like this in the market parking lot last week. Killer color and looks more like a dark Candy Apple Red, but you're right, it looks great.
  13. Very impressive with the doors open. Like the color and the finish. the trim is all cleanly done.
  14. Beautiful looking build and brings a whole new meaning to "scratch built". Great looking paint finish and color.

    The Woody

Great looking Woody Wagon. I like the slightly dirty look, more realistic looking. This is kit of my favorites and built one as a fictious Hawaiin Surf Shop car. I like your roof rack, that design looks just like the picture.
  16. Should you not get satisfaction from the selling dealer there is a phone number in the back of your owner's manual for Fords Customer Service. I would call them if the dealer doesn't make it right by you. The dealership has a relationship with Ford the company, much like GM and Chrysler, that has a matrix for customer satisfaction.
  17. Great looking chassis and roll bar setup. The body proportions look good.
  18. Nothing earth shattering, but a question unanswered. Local pickups used by city/county/state vehicles and even a few survey company vehicles with the yellow lights on the roof. I understand that they would be a good idea when parked by the side of the roadway especially if they are half on the road as that seems to be the standard for parking such vehicles. But when driving around in no particular hurry to get anywhere with no sign of any type of emergency, is this really the time to have these lights flashing? When I see a flashing light like this in my mind, I think of an emergency vehicle needing the right of way. Is this a local issue or is this something being done elsewhere as some sort of safety thing?
  19. Great looking truck. Normally not into a lot of graphics but think these look good here. I like the power train up grades and the wheels and tires.
  20. Very creative body design. Getting all of the body modifications to flow together this smoothly is quite the accomplishment.
  21. Beautiful looking showroom style build. Wish models of these could be reissued. The trim looks great.
  22. The panel truck that seems to be of interest could be created using the Revell Suburban kit and cover the side windows.
  23. Great looking build, all the details on the roof are well done.
  24. Great job on the finishes. Don't think this has been out of the yard and on the street for a while. I enjoy looking at all the details of the rigging and the tools laying around in the bed. That for me is what really stand out.
  25. While hard to fully appreciate a subject you know little about, the finishes here speak of the quality of the build. I like the look and the stance, and the colors look good together. Cool looking subject.
