Beautiful looking paint on this and I enjoyed your background story. I have built a few models of previous cars and trucks I have had and always found it very enjoyable as well. Nice that you were able to find all the parts you needed for this build.

I recall a story about when he was in a movie about Formula 1 Racing and he was reported to have done his own driving in that movie as well.

I was also a Rockford Files fan. The thing that hit me at the time was that most of the TV Heros had the real high end rides and Rockford had the Pontiac Firebird, but instead of a TA he drove a base looking car. Course he was living in a trailer by the beach. Having lived in California I wonder what city/county would put up with that.

The color looks very 1960 and the '59 Caddy taillights look great for that time period. I remember building this same kit years ago and had the same frame showing problem you mentioned. I think the frame also showed a little on the 1:1 back then anyway. A good friend of mine had one of these when they were just a few years old. Beautiful car until a drunken tree walked out in front of him one night.

Great looking chrome trim on the little Nova. The blue on the Cuda looks close to what would be Petty Blue.
