  1. Great looking build and I like the sort of stock style. Glad to hear you didn't have any problems with the windshield. Mine almost didn't get built because of it. Interesting color and goes well with the interior.
  2. Great looking recreation. These do look a lot cleaner without the stripes. I had a new '86 Monte SS in white and used a hair dryer to remove all the stripes the first week we had it. I like the wheels your uncle used and having them painted to match.
  3. Great looking extra detailing.

    AMT 67 Impala

Great clean looking build. The paint finish and the trim look really good. Nice sleeper at the stop light.
  5. Beautiful looking 210. This kit and the subject are one of my favorites. Great looking color and paint finish. Man, that stance looks good on this. I like the light shave on the hood and trunk lid.
  6. Been quietly watching you progress on this build. I like how you built the wood flat bed. I like all the grimy details you are adding.
  7. Just a thought on the spacing of the radiator. As you mentioned you will not be needing the A/C condenser, maybe remove it and mount the radiator on the grill side of the core support to get a little more engine clearance.
  8. Beautiful looking Hardtop. Nice match for the box art. I like the extra details with the spotlights and mirrors. The details on the engine and the interior really standout.
  9. Besides the interesting build I like the way you're photographing the progress.
  10. Needs a nice set of wide whites. Great looking wagon as is.
  11. Great looking build. Too bad Pontiac couldn't have done that using the Chevroley El Camino way back when.
  12. Beautiful body lines and paint. I like the extended rear quarters with the continental kit inset. This brings new meaning to the expression "Longer, Lower, and Wider".
  13. Looks to be in pretty good shape after all this time. Enjoy the memories that it brings you and put it back on the shelf.
  14. Sure, looks like a Pinto dash. I think it even says Pinto on the passenger side.
  15. you got it.

    Renault 4CV

Great looking build, and it does bring back memories of a high school friend that got his folks CV when he got his license. I remember going to a gas station with him and the guy put the gas in the radiator by mistake. Those two fillers seem reversed from what you might expect.
  17. Great clean looking painr and trim. Sometimes using a color not usually seen or stock can make a build stand out even more. These Fords had some beautiful body lines, and this build shows them well.
  18. Great smooth looking build style and the perfect color.
  19. Beautiful looking body and paint. An idea if this doesn't go together as planned for you. Consider mounting the interior into the body and then install the chassis. This worked for me on a build that had much the same assembly procedure that your described.
  20. I like the short VW Bus. The Van looks like an IH Metro.
  21. The Mercedes looks to be in great shape. I notice a Pontiac tin woody in the background, that is something that I would be interested in.
  22. Amazing attention to detail. That is something you should resin cast. I like the stock style of your build.
  23. Great looking prism effect.
  24. This Blazer does better in some situations than a 1:1 when crawling over some of the rocks.
  25. Welcome. You will find a great number of builders with similar interests in racing here.
