  1. I also wondered about the post numbers. Not enough to ask, but since you bring it up. Never thought of it as a contest, although some may have. Sometime back there were some updates done on the site and ever since these new numbers showed up. I guess sometimes inquiring minds just need to know why.
  2. Always liked the slightly plainer appearance of the 210 series. The color and the black walls look right.
  3. Great looking and I like the show room style build and display.
  4. Great looking paint work and the stripes look good on this.
  5. Beautiful looking paint finish and very clean body detailing. What color did you use on this?
  6. Glad to see you are getting back into building again. I have missed your Fords. Beautiful looking finish on this rebuild.
  7. Very cleanly detailed and the paint is very smooth looking. The bed cover is really well done, and I like the realistic look.
  8. Beautiful looking finishes and a super clean looking build.

Beautiful looking paint work and color. The settle differences in color on the interior goes well with the exterior.
  10. Beautiful looking body work and the paint finish and color looks good. Looks like it's going 200 mph sitting still.
  11. Great looking 3 window. I like the full fender style. Nice stance.
  12. The seats color and finish look great.
  13. Great looking paint finish.
  14. Great looking wagon. What was used for the rear portion of the roof and rear window?
  15. Beautiful looking finish and I like the colors you used.
  16. Very clean looking detailed trim and interior.

I like the Barn Find look. You may find this one moved to the Drag Section sometime soon.
  18. These GM bodies from this era had great overall looking lines.
  19. Very clean looking build.
  20. Very clean looking assembly here. I like the bright Red paint.
  21. The engine is look'n good. The information you got on the engine color is off a little. Most of the standard V-8's used a sort of a Blue color but the 442 and other HiPerformance models used a slightly lighter Gold color. Engine looks great as is.
  22. I also like your concept for this build. They used to have a trim option called the "Gold Duster" and this color would really fit that. The engine looks like it fit very well with just a little hood clearance problem.
  23. Now you're making me feel really old. I ordered a new '68 Chevrolet with the 8-track multiplex stereo. Just moved and unearthed a carrying case full of cassettes.
  24. My thought would be using the TS-40 Black Mt. wouldn't need and might not even show a silver base coat. As always picnic spoons are your friend. Suggestion, try a light coat of Model Master #2983 Multi color glitter clear spray or MM #2984 Silver glitter. These are both enamels, but over the Tamiya paint I don't think there would be an issue. Again, the spoon thing. This will help you see if the MM sprays are even needed to get the finish you're looking for. Many OEM Black Mt. colors in the past have a very slight multicolored flake effect as my '05 GTO did. This was not noticeable unless you were standing right next to the car.
  25. How could I ever forget those two guys? I used to listen to the Central Park album all the time.
