  1. Looks great especially considering what you started with.
  2. Looks great. I like the wider rear tires as they are in keeping with the era of this model, were they in the kit ? The stripes are also sort of era specific.
  3. Great looking paint work and all of the trim looks nice and cleanly done.
  4. Great looking Dart. I don't normally care for some of the factory striping packages but these look good the way you did them. Great looking paint finish.
  5. One that I built had some issues with contact between the top edge of the interior and the inside of the cab. I sanded the top edge of the interior bucket a little and that seemed to work in my case.
  6. Thanks, I'll have to go looking for some.
  7. Beautifully built. Very cleanly detailed.
  8. Great looking paint color and smooth finish. I also like the realistic looking engine detailing.
  9. Beautiful looking paint finish and all the chrome trim is cleanly done. Looking at the interior it looks as if you have created a textured vinyl finish for that part of the seats and kept the flat fabric type finish for the rest of it.
  10. Beautiful looking finish.
  11. Great idea for the tail lights. What was it you used for the source of the lens ?
  12. This should be interesting. I have one I built back when they first were released. Hand painted in Black. Most were not using spray cans let alone an airbrush at that time.
  13. Your aluminum guide for the doors is much better than what I have done in the past so from now on I'll use your idea.
  14. The up side down yellow sedan looks to be a '68 year model Chevrolet. The shape of the rear bumper and fender where the meet as well as the front fender and bumper shapes look more '68 than '67. The body of the two years is almost identical but the ends of the fenders and the bumpers were different between the years. My question would be had this always been a Taxi or a decommissioned PD car retired and then became a Taxi ?
  15. Many great suggestions for making your own hoses. Years ago I was doing several NASCR builds and was using a product from Scale Model Speedway and they offered several diameter Duct Hoses. Looking at the packaging there is no Web information but their address is 100 Gilmour Ct. Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
  16. The exhaust looks fine and no one would ever know you had to cut it. I'll have to try that the next time I forget as well.
  17. My understanding about the Crestline model had to do with Ford not having a hardtop two door model like GM started offering with the '49 year model cars and Chevrolet in particular. They were even supposed to have been offered in the early '51 model production and I have seen as many '51's as I have seen '50's. My only experience with the side moldings was to see them on an actual car and as I recall they were a thin chrome plated metal molding and the method usually used at the time would have been a clip on the back of the molding that attached to a hole in the body. The interior also had several trim differences including a different steering wheel and upholstery as well as additional chrome trim on the dash. There're several for sale on E-Bay and it would be easy for someone wanting additional information to look for the pictures there. My understanding also is that they were only offered in three colors, Bronze, Maroon, or a Yellow and Black was always the secondary color.
  18. The "ageing " of the finish on this is one of the most realistic looking I've seen lately. The chassis conversion looks great. The seat covers are as seen in most older trucks that have lived a hard life like this one.
  19. Great looking Camaro. I like how you used different shades of color to give all the mechanicals the proper appearances.
  20. Both very interesting style that isn't often seen but they're well done.
  21. I like the sideboards. I did much the same thing on an earlier model Ford pick-up and made a sign attached with a Muffler Shop logo on it.
  22. The '50 Ford Creastline two door looks great, always liked that body style. The little chrome thingies on the top of the rear fenders above the tail lights must have been a Pep Boys addon to make you think your car had fins.
  23. This is look'n good. I hope you haven't glued the differential in place yet. Unless you're going with some side exhaust it can be real hard to get the exhaust pipes installed with the differential in place. I like the stance and the way you have detailed the wheels.
