  1. If they ever brought back the COE concept for pick-ups this is what they should look like.
  2. I agree with the great parts fit on this kit.
  3. Had the same problem on a couple of builds where I changed the door lines or shortened a pickup bed. Wish I knew the answer. Mounds of body filler and they still show up after the final paint gasses out.
  4. Sometimes you just have to live with it.
  5. Thanks for the decal water warmer idea. Now I have to find one of those things.
  6. I suggest the use of gray primer to find any and hopefully all imperfections on the plastic surfaces. Should you be working with say a risen body an automotive primer would be a better choice. Only after the imperfections are corrected and before color coats is the time to decide which color primer you should use. This will depend on the finial color and remember the color of the primer can have an effect on the color shade of your finial color coat as everyone else has point out.
  7. A few from a local show this last weekend.
  8. Ya that was what our guy had, the foxtail burr and they are hard to get all of the little stickers out since they are barbed or something on the end.
  9. Dogs so often seem better than most people. They're honest and loyal.
  10. Some people that get involved with running an HOA can get a real feeling empowerment over their neighbors. Sounds like you have a very understanding person to deal with, count your blessings there. Sorry for your the loss of your father.
  11. Beautiful paint color and smooth finish. The white interior and matching tail stripes look good.
  12. Beautiful looking day 2 style. The contrasting interior goes well with the body color. Rally wheels always look right.
  13. Might outline the windows with a #11 blade to make a small "stop" for the paint. Sort of the way you would outline chrome trim on a models body if you were painting it chrome.
  14. An old AMT '39/'40 Ford kit. Parts stash Flathead speed parts and tires. Tamiya paints inside and out. Handmade exhaust exiting thru the running boards.
  15. When you figure out what works please share with everyone what you did. It is amazing how much we learn from one another here.
  16. One of the many advantages of living in the state of Kansas is that front plates are not required and you pay extra if you do want an additional plate for the front. Never understood why it was even needed and there is an expense for the state in making two plates instead of just one.
  17. Do you have any French dark roast beans?
  18. She must just hate you when that happens, but still funny all the same.
  19. Best to listen to the Vet since he is your beloved dog's doctor after all. Had a similar foot issue with our Lab years ago. Seems he got a bur from a weed while running in the country and it imbedded itself in his foot.
  20. Beautiful paint color and finish show of the body lines. Realistic looking interior finishes and the engine as well. The chrome wires always look correct on this body style.
  21. Great looking color, what is the Tamiya number as I would like to use this in the future.
  22. You're not going to bump into anything anyway. If you can get by without a front license plate that would also keep the cleaner front-end look.
