  1. Very impressive paint work.
  2. You are very lucky. I would suggest that you even go so far as to dismount the tire and have the wheel checked as to how much material was worn away in the damaged area. This may not be a problem now, but in the future if the wheel strength has been compromised it could prove to be just as dangerous as the caliper coming lose. The caliper usually is held in place by several bolts holding it to the spindle and a retainer clip usually holds the brake pads in the caliper.

    1950 Olds

Very nice day two looking build. I like how you detailed the engine and the fuel lines remind me of the way it was done so long ago.
  4. Besides the bad acting not to mention the writer of this script, it was based on the Chevelle SS 396 being the fasts of the three. In reality there are just to many factors to consider. The forst would be the basic engine. The Ford 390 in the base horse power rating, about 335 hp, would be hard pressed to match the Chevelle with the 360 hp instead of the base 325 hp and the same with the GTO. Another factor would be the transmission used. At that time the 4 speed manual normally would have an advantage over an automatic. In fact whether it was a close ratio or wide ratio 4 speed would even make a difference. The last thing the move doesn't tell you is the axle ratio in the different cars plus did they or did they not have a locking differential ? This is a case of the Apple and an Orange comparison. They both grow on a tree so they must be the same right ? With the proper equipment any one of these three could easily dust the other two if the others are equipped with the base drive line.
  5. Nice color combination. What colors are you using for the interior ?
  6. Great idea for the wheels, and that way the model will not smell bad either. What the heck is Bearglove anyway ?
  7. Nice comparison, they both look great.
  8. Stop beating your self up on this, it looks great to me. I like the blue that was not that common on the 1:1 Boss cars. Most of the few I remember where the Orange color.
  9. I really like how you built this Volvo. The seat belts look perfect. Also the deep offset painted wheels give it a very aggressive look.
  10. Great looking build. Interesting to see something we wouldn't normally see on this side of the "Pond". The interior detailing is very impressive. As an aside, I had an early '80's Camaro Z28 with the Recaro seat option with the same striping in a different color. I always thought that looked good.

    1970 Firebird TA

Very nice clean looking build. I like this color combination better than the white body with blue stripe.
  12. Stunning detail on this engine, hard to tell from a 1:1.
  13. The OEM tire for the SS was a 225/65R x 15 Good Year with raised white letters. The original issued kit I built when this was first released had an issue with getting the tires inside of the body. Easy modifications to the wheel backs will cure this problem. As for ride height, just relocate the front spindles much like a real car and a little trim of the rear springs to suit what ever ride height you're after for the rear.
  14. Very clean looking build. This was one of Mopar's bolder colors. Nice to know that the kit includes the decals for the heater hoses, Id buy the kit for that alone.
  15. Great looking build. I can see you did a lot to make the trunk area look real. Great paint finish.
  16. Very clean looking. I really like the paint color and the great finish.
  17. Interesting looking drive shaft with multiple universal joints. I like the start of your paint design. Always interesting how these paint treatments evolve.
  18. Painless makes a wiring kit for that. Rewiring a car would be a very big under taking, but if you have ever been driving down the road and the wiring harness starts to go up in smoke you might at least consider it.

    '57 Chevy Bel Air

Beautiful looking Bel Air. In '56 and '57 this color combination was very popular for Chevrolet and was always my favorite. You really captured the correct color for the fabric seat inserts.

    65' IMPALA

Beautiful looking. At first I thought the finish was Black. Then viewing the later pictures the finish looks very different. What paints did you use ? Big D is going to love this. Excellent chassis and engine detailing.
  21. Very nice looking Gran Torino. The interior looks great and the paint finish and the stripes turned out well also.
  22. Great looking finish and the stripes turned out well also. The color looks good with the orange roll bar and brush guard.
  23. Great looking line up. They all have excellent paint work and are nicely detailed. I always like Ford's paint treatment on that van.
  24. Very nice looking build. Good paint and very nice interior. Makes you wonder why Studebaker didn't offer a convertible. Perfect engine up grade. A Study 289 cu in with about 10 lbs. of boost, hang on.
  25. That's a great looking Buick. Be thankful they only stole the hub caps. Kid's, a pro would be gone with the whole car.
