  1. I wonder sometimes if the Camo type covering doesn't draw more attention than a plane painted body.
  2. Looks great to me. The hood thing would be common and the Wood Grained Tail Gate would be part of the Malibu trim package and the Bucket Seats would have been optional. The yellow ACCEL plug wires were considered a standard up grade. Very nice looking parts chaser.
  3. This is one great looking pick up. Makes you wonder why Ford didn't do it. Very cleanly built and I like the Artillery style wheels.
  4. Looks like a fun build and a good way to remember someone special.
  5. Looking good up on all fours. FWI the Custom cab trim on the 1:1 truck cab was a semi-polished aluminum material, how ever you want to finish that. I like the White Walls.
  6. Beautiful looking conversion to a vary basic model of Challenger. I really like the 6 cylinder engine switch and the detailing under hood is outstanding. When someone uses the term "Less is more" this is a good example of what they mean.
  7. Very nice looking build. Ford sold a lot of Pink T-Birds in '57 and the color was also available on the regular car as a tutone with White or Black. Still see the Pink Birds at auction often.
  8. A '50 Ford Crestliner is a rare sight.
  9. Great looking model. Color preferences very from one region to another, but I remember see several Sonoma and S-10's painted this color. Always thought it improved the appearance of either one.
  10. Thank you for the pictures. So many great looking cars. I have had the good fortune to have visited this area in the past on vacations and is beautiful every where you look.
  11. To bad Zora isn't still around to see his vision come to life, finally.
  12. Great idea, like the way you bring all the different parts together.
  13. Reminds me of an old Johnny Cash song, if he had been working in a Ford factory instead of Cadillac. You got all the different parts to look just like an old really hard worked pick up. Great job.
  14. Makes you smile to see. Very clean looking build and the fruits and veggies look realistic. Just need to find a Farmers Market somewhere.
  15. Very nice rebuild. You got the '60's look, side pipes, chrome reverse rims with wide whites, Merc tail lights, custom grill and more carburetors than you could possible need. Thanks for the memories ( 2 - '56's and friends with many other year models also)
  16. Paint the "cans" with a semi gloss yellow and some gold paint. I have done this to look like "Rocky Mountain Cool Aid", Coors for those who have never enjoyed.
  17. The paint work is outstanding and the first thing that gets your eye. The Chassis and Interior work is well done and very workable in 1:1.
  18. Good looking Fury. Did Star Models have a suggestion for a stock type chassis?
  19. Great looking model B. Very nice colors used on this and very clean looking finish.
  20. Great looking build. I agree with you on the color combination. The lighter colored interior actually makes the exterior standout even more. Very clean assembly and I also like the day 2 wheels.
  21. This would be something different. Another thought that got my attention was on the front cover of Street Rodder Magazine. A customized Edsel hardtop in a dark Burgundy color.
  22. The ambient temperatures are in the mid to high 90's but at least the humidity is still only in the mid 70%'s. = heat index of 108+ till Saturday. I'm hoping the Jet Stream drops a little south.
  23. Check your clearance around the Windshield. The Windshield doesn't want to fit all the way against the roof and a little sanding will go a long way. The Floor and back wall of the interior also catches on the inside of the cab a little. This combined with the fire wall fitment, making the three different parts all fit together takes some forcing.
