  1. I like your roof idea and plan to watch what all you do with this build. While minor at this point I hope to see you do something with the shape of the windshield opening on the transplanted roof. I'm thinking of the windshield mounting on the sides and top, they seem very heavy looking.
  2. Don't forget to post pictures for those of us that can't make it.
  3. The Ramcharger is a good pick for a tow vehicle. I have not built this kit but it looks interesting. The Airstream is what I'm really interested in, is it a kit ? or a die cast ??
  4. Tulio, I always look forward to your beautiful Ford builds. I like the Red / White color combination.
  5. Great looking build.
  6. Great build. I like the Z'd frame.
  7. Great looking work horse. This is a good way to remember your father when ever you look at this model.
  8. I like the instruments in the dash, and the shift knob.
  9. Ditto, and the fuel filler is behind the driver's side tail light.
  10. I'm not sure what you're looking for when you say "two-door imitation hardtop". Ford offered what they called a Club Sedan model in the Fairlane and Fairlane 500 series. This was a pillared two door with very thin pillars with chrome moldings around the window just as pictured. Not sure why they did this since they cost very close to a true hardtop. The car in the picture is a Fairlane 500 model. The Fairlane had different side moldings that started under the rear side glass and came forward toward the door handle. Just before reaching the door opening the molding abruptly turns down and toward the rear of the body and then turns again to run straight back just above the rear wheel opening and ending level with the top edge of the rear bumper. Both of the Fairlane body styles shared the 118 in. wheel base and the Custom and Custom 300 had the 116 in. wheel base. I don't know if this helps with what you are looking for or just confuses.
  11. Great looking "Beater", I like the rack. What did you use for the expanded metal on the rack??
  12. Great looking build. The SS nose on the El Camino always looks great.
  13. Great looking build. This is how these coupes should look.
  14. Great detail work on this build. I just never seem to get to see enough of the WRC action.
  15. Perfect fit and finish. The attention to detail is dead on.
  16. The extra detailing you have done looks great. Have you thought about changing the color of the steering wheel ?? The red color seems odd with the blue body and black interior, but it also might be more trouble than its worth to disassemble the Promo.
  17. I have seen several Chevy II Phantom wagons, but most are not done this well. Usually a standard four door wagon is used and the rear doors are just welded shut. The ones I has seen like this they usually use a two door sedan door section and create a new quarter panel to make it all very factory looking. This one shows excellent body work and outside of the one piece side windows looks factory to me.
  18. Great looking cruiser, I also like the roof treatment.
  19. Outstanding looking build. If Cadillac had built a '59 Woody this is what it would have looked like.
  20. Also been watching the storm coverage. I think that sort of reporting will come to an end quickly when one of these guys get hit by some flying debris, "film at eleven" as they say.
  21. Very nice survivor. Very creative convertible top. That model seemed to always have a problem with the grill and hood fitment.
  22. The Corvette still looks great. I like the Edsel, trailer combo.
  23. I enjoy your story line. I bought a '51 Ford in '62 for $150 but it looked a little better than this. A fresh Krylon Flat Black paint job and a non functioning hood release. Your build is a real flash back, thank you.
  24. Great looking Mustang. The extra detailing on the engine and interior makes it stand out.
  25. Beautiful build. Always nice to see a stock type build. The color combinations are perfect. Just don't see enough '40's any more.
