  1. Looks very clean and the color catches your eye. I also would like to see more pictures.
  2. Beautiful build. The tires do fit the look of the model perfectly.
  3. Liking it the way it is best, but should you change your mind you could give it a light coat of Tamiya TS-71 Smoke. Smoke is a lightly tinted clear which would make your Silver color darker but would tone down the Metal Flake look. I usually use it to make a dark tint or windows.
  4. That hood is nasty dirty looking, looks just right.
  5. The old AMT boat will be a welcomed come back for my self. I just did the Hemi Hydro with several changes and now I want to do more. While the Datsun pick up isn't high on my list of to do builds I do remember when the Mini Truck thing was really big and these where on the leading edge of that so maybe one of those.
  6. Very clean build and shows just how great this model looks in colors other than Candy Red.
  7. Beautiful paint job and the color really stands out. The wheels make it look very current with street rod trends. Looking at this build it is hard to think that at one time the '37 was called "the ugly duckling" .

Great looking build and I really like the color combo. Have you considered using the kit's bench seat , cut it apart and make bucket seats if you stay with the consul ?? This way you would have a matching seat pattern to the rear seats.
  9. Great looking stock build.
  10. Great looking interior.
  11. Picked up mine at my favorite hobby shop yesterday. So glad to see the magazine back. Great as always.
  12. Very nice build. Where the colors Sierra Gold and Sand Beige by chance ??
  13. Beautiful clean build. The interior looks perfect. Great job on the Fordomatic trunk trim.
  14. For the shifter its self I have used large size dress maker type pins. I try to find the ones with the thickest metal part, but some times it still seems to small of a diameter. Lately I have used different diameter paper clips. They are much easier to bend and shape as needed. If you have a large bench vise you can flatten the leaver a little to resemble a Hurst Shifter. For a console you can use strips of Plastruct to create the basic shape. Then file and sand to the desired shape. You may also need to use a little body putty to get what you want. Another thought on the console would be to look in the After Market section here, there is a list of many suppliers of interior as well as body conversion parts. Usually they offer the interior conversion to make a bucket seat car into a bench seat, but they also offer some interior parts that may work for you. Good luck on your build.
  15. Thank you for the update. The car looks much better to me in the darker colors. I also got lost in the link you mentioned watching the Rusky version of Top Gear.
  16. Thank you for sharing your photos. I don't ever recall seeing such a wide verity and the boats are very interesting.
  17. Sorry I'm unable to help on the part, but you might have better luck if you list your request in the WANTED section of the Forum.
  18. Not a subject I would normally be interested in, but it is a BMW and I do like the fender flairs and all. I'll be looking for one of these for sure.
  19. Great looking build. The color is perfect for a Boss.
  20. Beautiful build of an iconic car. The black paint is really smooth looking.
  21. I'm heading to the news stand now.
  22. This looks like an extremely well done model sitting on a deck railing. The basic Volvo P1800 is always nice to look at. The colors are something that may grow on you. The Mustang II looking grill will need some more development. The low profile white wall tires are interesting. Not sure where the windshield came from. Is this a model, real, or photo shop ?? .
  23. Great build. While the wheels seem a little large to some that is a popular style still. The interior looks very nice also.
  24. Very realistic looking build. The trim details looks perfect
  25. Great job on the stretch body work. You don't often see a Lemo. build.
