  1. I like the color, but I also question the fit on the roof. Those wheels and brakes give it a very aggressive look.
  2. Another great build. I like how you photograph your builds, it really adds to the realism. I think Ford called their beds Style Sides and most others such as GM called them Step Sides. The Red interior would not have been uncommon with the colors used.
  3. Your black and white photos almost look like a picture of a used work truck in the '50's. I like the light weathering you did. Some say "less is more" and I tend to agree. I can feel my sweaty back sticking to the vinyl seat now.
  4. Chassis looks great. Are those the kit's wheels a nd tires ?? This is not a subject I would normally build but these are starting to look better all the time so who knows.

    58 Corvette

  6. Turned out great and the Bike and Tule storage unit look perfect. Almost a shame to sell it.
  7. Beautiful build. I'm an Orange paint fan but your Coral finish looks good. I like the exhaust tips, should make a nice Snap Crackle Pop when you back off the throttle. Did you take liberties with the tail lights or is that the way they are kitted ??
  8. Turned out great. I enjoyed following your rebuild on this.
  9. One of my all time favorite kits, especially the way you described building it. I wonder how many Mason Jars could fit in the back of that ??
  10. I like your idea for your build. I'm really impressed with what I have seen of the interior decals. This will be my next build, this kit has so many possibilities.
  11. Nice build, I like the windshield wipers. They look better than what you usually see in a kit.
  12. Your job on the plates make it that much cooler.
  13. Great looking build and the paint is outstanding.
  14. I have seen people pay more than $9.99 at shows for the remains of a kit such as this. If you need the parts for a project and the price seems right to you than go for it. The parts are worhth what someone is willing to pay for them.

    C7 Corvette

Great build, it looks just like the 1:1 Corvette.
  16. Great looking build. I'm not familiar with the Fallout Games theme but the color combination looks great. Nice crisp color separation. Question, the body kings shoe the Boston Division but you have California license plates.
  17. Rusty makes a important point about body prep. You hadn't mentioned what primer you used on the body. With a light color such as Yellow you would want a White primer as it would make the lighter colors look brighter. For a dark colored body a Gray would work fine. I like to follow other builders as they go thru the process as I have learned a great deal from the other builders by doing so. As you have found out everyone wants to help you in anyway they can.
  18. Very nice build. As others have mentioned a light wash on the grill and the hood vents would go a long way. You might want to try your hand at foiling the chrome trim on your next build, or get one of the Liquid Chrome pens to do the trim.
  19. Very sharp clean build. Looks like it's on the new car showroom floor.

I like this a lot, makes me smile to look at it.
  21. Your build is look'n great. While these are factory colors and interior and exterior combinations, I have always wondered what G.M. was thinking on some of these combinations.
  22. Excellent detailing on the chassis. Look forward to seeing the rest of your build.
  23. I bought one of these a couple of years ago. I have used it to store my extra tires. I cut pieces of card board and taped them to the inside creating a divider to separate different styles of tires. They make a great inexpensive way to store just about anything.
  24. I was spoiled and didn't realize it at that time, I was living in southern California and Coors was the Brew of choice at the time.
  25. Great colors and design.
