  1. Beautiful looking color and finish. I built one of these AMT Chevelles a few years ago and was disappointed with the overall fit and finish as well. Like the way the chassis looks.
  2. Great looking paint work and color. The chassis and engine look good. Like the stance and the way the top has been chopped.

    70 Firebird

Great looking paint and stripe design. Clean looking detailed trim.
  4. Sometimes you just have to use what you have. Wouldn't be my first choice either, mainly the rear window style does sort of contrast with the rest of the body design. I have seen much worse in real life.
  5. I like the look of the way your rear window is done. The little cargo area given up for the cab addition wouldn't matter that much on a rig like this anyway. Who's going to be hauling firewood or whatever in such a nice truck? The picture of the '57 that someone has built looks good, but you're not gaining any interior space, that was the reason for all this anyway. The rear window area looks like it may have come from an earlier model GM pickup cab and with the corner windows it looks practical.
  6. Great looking El Camino. I wonder about the height of the seat backs. Visually they look a little tall especially the head rests. Clearance may be an issue with the rear window as well. I'm sure you will work it all out.
  7. Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great turnout and a wide variety of vehicles.
  8. The smooth rear wheels seem out of place. Most of the wheels of this design that I have seen usually have some sort of a cleated tread pattern. These look like they would just spin and not go anywhere in any muddy field.
  9. Looks like a fun build. Like how you did the paint colors.
  10. Great looking paint and engine detailing. Like the stance and wheel & tire setup.
  11. Great looking paint finishes and these colors were very popular at that time.
  12. Beautiful looking paint finish and colors. The interior looks like a work truck, but a clean one.
  13. Beautiful looking paint and the contrasting interior and wheel color looks great. Like the trim and the stance.
  14. Great attention to all the details of a stock pickup with a special meaning for you.

    '70 Buick GS.

Beautiful looking paint and interior. Like the way you detailed the engine.
  16. Great looking replica of a special car. The interior and engine are very realistic looking.
  17. Great paint treatment and the body fit and finish. Like the engine and the detailing.
  18. Amazing looking with all the minute details.
  19. Beautiful looking color and well detailed engine.
  20. Don't forget those involved in the distribution and model shops for sales.
  21. I don't remember which member it is here but they're doing a French Citroen. Find a Rolls Royce or a MB maybe. There used to be a real nice Volvo Shooting Brake (wagon to us) kit. Hillmen Minx or a Morris Minor maybe?
  22. The H78x15 was the way they stated the tires size at that time. The H designated approximately the older 7.60 size and the 78 was what they call the aspect ratio between the tire width and the sidewall height. The tire tread is 78% of the sidewall height.
  23. Great looking paint work and clean trim. The interior gives a nice contrast to the body color.
  24. I see what you mean about the body panels lining up. Wish that they had offered a two door Suby here. The paint looks great with the blue accents.
  25. Great looking colors and trim still look new.
