  1. I have done both of those in the past. Home Depot or Lowes has some great deals on ceiling fans. We added two too our garage when we moved a couple of years ago and had done the same at our old house. Something to consider on the painted floor. For a model room with light foot traffic with proper prep the floor paint kits at the home supply stores should be ok. In the case of a garage floor with cars coming and going, get a pro to do it. I did all the prep per the instruction including the acid etching for the floor before painting the garage floor. Allowed the floor to dry for the better part of a week, and when my wife came home from work, she parked her car in the garage. The next morning, she backed out and lifted an impression of her four tires. The other problem was my floor jack and stands along with my creeper would leave marks all over the floor. At the last house we had a local company that specialized in doing cabinets and floor in garages and commercial applications. Ten years later the floors still looked as good as new, in fact per our real estate agent, as soon as he saw the garage he called his wife and said they're buying our house. Turns out he is one of the top techs at the local Audi dealership, so you know he appreciated it.
  2. Thank you for sharing. Like seeing what others are building and showing, especially from areas far away.
  3. Very realistic looking paint and body finish.
  4. The Kustom grill and front end really change the appearance of this along with the stance. I wouldn't have thought of those colors together, but they sure look good after seeing them done. The short bed has always been a more appealing looking body style.
  5. Beautiful looking paint finish and color that goes well with the interior. Clean body trim and stripping. Like the engine detailing.
  6. Great looking paint colors and finish. Like the stance along with the wheels and tires. Here we have a TV program on Hot Rod TV called Iron Resurrection that id about a custom shop in Texas. The owner built a '64 Galaxie with a very similar paint treatment.
  7. Foil looks good and I like the body and interior colors.
  8. Looks like a '50's DeSoto grill which was a common treatment on custom Mercury's at one time.
  9. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. The black paint work doesn't hide any body flaws. The chrome body trim is all cleanly done. Like the wheels and tires.
  10. Great looking patina finish. The addition of the Mercury trim looks good. Like the wheels and tires along with the stance.

    Thank you for your comments.
  12. Like the overall look of the body and paint. The roof insert looks well worn. The unusual wheel design catches your eye along with the color matched heads on the engine.
  13. Great idea for displaying the Corvette. The extra detailing of the engine really adds to the look. Great looking paint work and the detailing of the interior is well done.
  14. The paint finish and depth of the color looks great. Vinyl roof and matching tail stripes go well together.
  15. Beautifully done Kustom body work and paint. The interior style and the way you got all the half rounds lined up look great.
  16. Great looking paint work and decals. Like the hood scoop and the engine compartment.
  17. Great looking paint color and finish. I like the aggressive look of the body tucked down between the fenders. Like the engine choice and detailing.
  18. You might want to also check the tax laws in Kansas before you invest in anything of this nature. I do like your idea though.
  19. Funny everyone is mentioning FedX drivers. Just yesterday my wife and I got back from shopping and lunch, I have to get out of her car so she can get as close to the garage wall as possible to allow our car doors not to hit each other's car in the garage. I'm standing just outside of the garage when I hear a sound that I recognized right away. The sucking sound of an internal combustion engine with the throttle wide open. The driver was coming out of the street about half a block from where I was standing and almost didn't stop for the stop sign at that corner, then guns it again past where I'm standing and then blows through the stop sign on the corner where we live. From there it is a block to the larger roadway and out of the area. You could hear him going up the slight grade going up the main road again with the engine wide open. My thought is they are hiring people with little or no driving skills who may have never operated a vehicle with the power of these big 1 ton plus delivery vans. They're "drunk" with the power and the sound of the engine. I would like to be a mouse in the corner when they have to explain to whoever is in charge of the fleet why their rig is broken or run into or over someone.
  20. Congratulations on your new home. Insulate those walls and some sheet rock and semi-gloss white paint and make it a real pleasant place to work on your cars.
  21. Beautiful looking paint finish and flames. As everyone else has mentioned, the sourcing of the many parts really work well together. I'll have to get one of these engines, the detailing is outstanding.
  22. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. The steel wheels and red line tires fit the look. Good looking interior details. The display engine should be in the body.
  23. Like the earlier build styles on these. The finishes and the engine detailing along with the trim or lack thereof are very distinct.
  24. Great looking Impala. The colors and the engine and chassis detailing are realistic looking. I had a few friends that got new '65 Impalas as they were really popular at the time.
  25. Great looking paint finish and color. Have always liked our sedan deliveries so this body style is very appealing. The additional detailing with the roof rack looks good.
