Congratulations on your new home. Insulate those walls and some sheet rock and semi-gloss white paint and make it a real pleasant place to work on your cars.
Beautiful looking paint finish and flames. As everyone else has mentioned, the sourcing of the many parts really work well together. I'll have to get one of these engines, the detailing is outstanding.
Beautiful looking paint finish and color. The steel wheels and red line tires fit the look. Good looking interior details. The display engine should be in the body.
Great looking Impala. The colors and the engine and chassis detailing are realistic looking. I had a few friends that got new '65 Impalas as they were really popular at the time.
Great looking paint finish and color. Have always liked our sedan deliveries so this body style is very appealing. The additional detailing with the roof rack looks good.
Like the style of your build. Amazing how tall the stock roof looks. The smoothed body and extra louvers along with the blacked out trim really change the appearance. Like the stance along with the wheels & tires.
Like the chassis modifications and the Resin body has a good-looking roof height. The gap between the rear of the hood and the body shouldn't be too hard to correct.
Great idea, although they all have been done in the past and it would seem that the owners still haven't been able to make the facility a viable investment. This is a shame since there is a lot of potential and investment in the existing infrastructure.
Tamiya offers several different Military type colors including some shades of blue in rattle cans. I have liked to use them in several builds in the past as the finish has a soft sheen requiring no additional clear coats and usually one light dusting seems to be fine.
I would also suggest Brian Croft's suggestion. In the past I have painted the appropriate colors on the back side of the clear plastic and then applied Bare Metal Foil. As for the outside trim portion that could be done with foil or a chrome pen depending on what you are comfortable with. As Brian pointed out the chrome foil seems to reflect the light the best and gives the lenses a sense of depth.
Thank you everyone. I looked at the colors that BMW offered on this body style and their shade of silver wasn't to my liking, so this is what I went with. The same with the interior. I recommend this kit if you're looking for something a little different and not real involved to build.
Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Like how you smoothed up the body. The interior looks great, and the colors look good against the exterior. The color detailing of the engine blends with the exterior. Like the chassis detailing.
