  1. I tried to look at your web site and it said that Godaddy now has it for sale. Is there another way to access your catalog of products ?
  2. Could this somehow get "locked" at the top? I have often used this to find a part for a build as I think many others have done in the past.
  3. Beautiful looking build. The hood stripes, is the spacing getting wider toward the front or is it just the picture ?
  4. I have been silently following your build. As so many others have stated this is truly an amazing conversion. I have learned a great deal from just watching how you joined these two kits along with the little details like the vents and such. These details are often left undone since they are hard to see and usually aren't noticed by most. I look forward to the completion of the build.
  5. I have had the same problems in the past. On the "Dog hiking his leg" issue usually you can just adjust the rear suspension without dismantling the whole kit. I saw how you fought the headlights. In the past I have just painted the head light area with Flat Aluminum and a top coat of Future and it would look ok.
  6. Let's keep it on the top.
  7. Great looking build. Like the '55 style colors.
  8. Great looking weathering, very realistic looking. While hard to tell from the photos, the wheels look like what I would think some old rusted wheels might look like.
  9. I also love the unusual roof line. I think that Buick and Olds also had a base coupe like this. Is this something you will be offering in the future ?
  10. Very real looking build. The color name ? Was that what Plymouth called it ? That's funny.

    69 GTO

Beautiful build and the color looks perfect for that body style.
  12. Your build looks fantastic, I don't understand why you can't get excited about it.

    55 Nomad

Outstanding showroom type build. The colors are different than what you usually see. The interior and foil is perfect.
  14. Turned out great. Once you get the foil done it should really look outstanding. I have to agree on the rear ride height, it would look better if it sat level.
  15. May the FORCE be with you on your personal health issues. My condolences for your mother. I also lost both of my parents to Cancer. Your build is very original in so many ways. In addition to the custom body and interior I really like the unique blower setup on the flathead.

    Tangerine

Amazing build. So much detail work, its hard to take it all in.
  17. Great find. The 1:1 Merc. had a chrome molding down the side that ran from the top edge of the headlights too the edge of the rear, then turned down in an arch over the tail lights before ending at the rear bumper. The molding may be very faint on this body. This might be one idea to use if you go with a tu-tone paint job. Since your thinking a custom maybe a fade paint scheme.
  18. This guy seems to know how to drive in this terrain. He should see if G.M. wants to buy this footage for a TV ad.
  19. That hurts just to look at. You should really get some medical attention just incase of a possible infection. I did the same thing on the end of my index finger just below the nail once. After cleaning the wound the doctor just super glued it and sent me home. Hope you get well soon.
  20. Looking at the instructions, the intake manifold for the Fuel Meter #510 is not shown. I think that what they left off was to use the intake manifold #16 and mount the Fuel Meter in place of the carb. The Blower Intake Manifold #530 is attached to the Fuel Meter and is attached to the two Super Chargers. The single blower setup is a "blow thru" system using the carburetor and the duel blower system was a fuel injection system.
  21. Put together with a very clean and plausible look. Would there be a front frame cross member ? Great looking exhaust and the color details on the driveline components.

    1957 Del Rio

Beautiful clean day 2 look. You are right this is a great kit.
  23. I think I like the Turbo nose the best. They all look to be in very good condition especially for "rust belt" cars.
  24. I had two personal experiences with Rotary engines on the street. I used to work in new car dealerships. As such I was around many different cars. One day they sold my demo so that night I just drove the trade-in as I was going out to dinner that night. It was a Mazda Cosmos with a 5-speed. I was headed north on Hwy 101 going to San Luis Obispo with light traffic. That night I got lucky because I completely ignored the speed limit and I can tell you I was amazed. It was faster than the Supra I had been driving. A couple of years later I was working at the Mazda dealership in Seaside Ca. and one of the mechanics in the shop had a Mazda pick-up that had a Rotary from the factory. He had reworked an RX-7 engine for it and it was a terror on the highway. I have always wondered why the engine never became more main stream.
