  1. Great looking work. I like how you worked the supports for the trunk and doors.
  2. If anyone wants additional info on this car, I just finished reading the January #137 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. They had 5 pages on the history and restoration of this car. Interesting history and lots of good pictures for reference for a possible build.
  3. Great weathering and attention to all of the little details. I had never seen the "eyes" on the hood before. I liked that.
  4. I wish there was better TV coverage of this sport. The "drift " guys of today could learn a lot from these drivers. I personally think this is the most challenging style of racing for a driver.
  5. I had seen something about this collection before. It's a shame that these cars were not better cared for by the owner.
  6. That is truly skilled craftsmen at work. To pretty to paint unless its with clear.
  7. I vaguely remember some program that involved AMT. After sending in the box codes I got the Jaguar XJ something or other that had just come out. I don't think I ever built it though.
  8. That's really cool. It sounds a whole lot better with the Chevrolet small block. I hope they get the gas tank out of the truck bed soon.
  9. They are all outstanding builds. Very nice pearl paint job on the Mercury custom.
  10. Turned out real nice. Good looking color combo.
  11. I like the showroom stock, but I'm already getting the Cad. engine out of the '49 Ford to put in a mild custom for myself. I'm thinking a nice "rake" with just a "nosed" and "decked" body mods.
  12. To kOOl, That's the way a '40 is supposed to look.
  13. I've seen other magazine stories on this race and the crazy cars that guys have entered before, but this thing has got to be the best yet. I wish I had the time, money, and skills to do something like this.

    My 2014 review

    Great looking builds.
  15. Loved them all. Can I have the keys to the Charger?
  16. Don't know how you find the time to build so many, but the sure look great everyone. I like you taste in music also.
  17. Very nice. I had to put on my sun glasses for the color. I liked the bed idea, I'll use that for sure on my next pick-up.
  18. Glad to see you back after this one. I really like what you have done on this Woody.
  19. Could be a Ford prototype from a long a go.
  20. Turned out great, well done.
  21. Built one of these and its '65 El Camino cousin years ago. While it may not be as high tech as the newer kits it can still be made very presentable with the effort you seem to be putting into it. Look forward to seeing how this turns out.
  22. Congratulations, you are going to love this car. The chassis is a shortened Charger and everything else is very similar also. I have always been a GM type, but after the Feb. '14 when we got my wife a '14 Dodge Avenger RT we are now 100% Mopar. They have come a long way and we love our '09 Jeep Wrangler and '10 Charger RT with AWD. It would be hard for me to consider any other make at this time. There are many good cars to choose from, but based on the experience we have had since the change over I just don't see anything else that fits for use.
  23. I agree that Hemmings has the finest magazines out along with Collectible Automobile magazine. They are well worth the money. On the Road & Track, I've subscribed for many years but the "new" format that they are using leaves me a little cold and they really a partial to BMW's and Toyota's . They make great reference material for builds. I think I need to buy some more book shelves.
  24. Now that is deferent. Nice looking build.
