  1. Welcome. Very nice build, thankyou for sharing. I enjoy what modlers from other countries are building.
  2. Lots of good ideas, look forward to see this finished.
  3. Looken Good. What are you thinking for colors? I lived in SoCal at about the time of which you speak. Mid sixties many of the guys would use a light colored bottom, sometimes even a pearl clear coat. The roofs were often metalflaked in a darker shade or masked with a table cloth lace and spray with a darker color. Just some ideas.
  4. Very interesting project. Something you might think about later on. Since you will have a Chevelle roof without a home. Maybe use the Camaro body with the Chevelle roof. I had seen somewhere in one of the car mags where an artist drawing did something along that line and it look good to me. I look forward to your work on this "Chevelle" in the mean time.
  5. I will be buying some tickets next weekend. For those of you who have not had a chance to go to the Heartland Nationals, it is one of the best you will find anywhere.
  6. Just because you have dollars doesn't mean that you have sense. That's why untrainded drivers need traction control.
  7. I have not seen any for some time. I was a builder of NASCAR models at one time. The only red i have is for the #24 Dopont car. I think that is #52977 per the cap. Would that help you at all? david
  8. Thank you for all the great music. RIP
  9. Let me ask you something. What would you do if this guy rolls up into your driveway to deliver your pizza?
  10. Standard Poodles are like their smaller cousins that you maybe used to seeing, but they will not hesitate for a minute to bite you if you're in their territory. I knew a girl in high scholl who had one. It scared the you know what out of me, and I had a German Shepard at home.
  11. I tried it once on a bumper for a '57 Ford. Used TS-14 base coat. Not quite chrome enough for my taste, but maybe with a little more clear it would work. Without an air brush it is a good alternative to Alclad.
  12. I used to have three or more at any given time. I soon found that nothing got finished and most would be back in the box to make way for something else. Now I force myself to do only one at a time, and just focuse on that one project.
  13. I like the Monte Carlo or Camaro factory mags.
  14. Great looking longroof. How did you add the tailgate moldings ?
  15. Thats about as nice as it gets. I like how you made the roof and windows fit so nice. Great detailing everywhere you look.
  16. Looks great, realy used and abused.
  17. Great looking build. You wouldn't happen to be a Mopar fan?
  18. Looks amazing.
  19. I'm a Chevy kind of guy, but you have also got to respect a light Mustang or even the Plymouth Duster if built right. Any one of these would work. Just a thought on the Joker Goon Car. There is a group of racers from Mo. who have been featured in Hot Rod magazine that show up every year at the annual drag contest with some old rusted four door that thay have drugout of a field somewhere. Their lateest was a Pontiac ( I think it was a '59), The picture in Hot Rod shows it off the line with daylight under both front tires. Just a thought.
  20. Does Home Land Securty knows that you are giveing out the guarded information.
  21. Hard to tell it isn"t real. Very nice.
  22. Looks realy sharp, like the Orange.

    1941 Willys

Like the paint. The blue is realy interesting for something I've been thinking about. Could you share what you used ?
  24. Good lookinf build. Please keep posting pictures.
  25. A Cuda would be cool. As an aside, I read in the business section of the paper this morning abour Chrysler and Fiat. As you may know Fiat bought controling intrest in Chrysler a few years ago as they were going under. As of the first quarter of 2012, Chrysler posted greater earnings than Ford or GM. In fact Fiat lost millions in europe but posted several million in earnings and an over all profit based on Chrysler's earnings. So if it had not been for Chrysler, Fiat would have been in real trouble. Just food for thought.
