  1. Beautiful Chevelle ! Nicely detailed and great paint !
  2. Very very nicely done Jim ! Love the small added details and the flames ! After years of mega detailing models I now prefer much simpler builds detailed with paint and built clean and crisp . . . you nailed it !
  3. I don't think you failed at all , it looks great ! My experience with tilt front ends is that none of them fit regardless of the kit .
  4. Thanks Eric ! Thanks much Ray ! Thanks Larry !
  5. Thanks Alan ! That was kind of the idea , one that was raced for a while and then upgraded for the next season .
  6. Built side by side at the same time on my bench , every time I sat down to do something I did it twice ! Interesting that while I did spend more time daily working on them I actually finished them in the same six weeks it would have taken to build just one . Both are AMT Bantam Blast kits with resin bodies from Freemont Racing . The only other non-kit parts are the scoops , 18" 12-spoke fronts (with Revell tires) , and 16" Torque Thrusts on the '32 , all from Speed City Resin . Also Vertex Magnetos from M.A.D. and I made my own headers for both . More finished pics . Thanks for lookin' !
  7. Awesome job , looks fast just sitting there !
  8. Great looking model !
  9. Very unusual subject and very well done ! Super clean build ! I bet it's as small as it looks .
  10. Great build of a very finicky kit , well done !
  11. Beautifully done , and the perfect color !
  12. Beautiful ! The 59's get all of the accolades for design but I much prefer the the "60 -'62 Caddy's .
  13. Very well done !
  14. Simple clean and beautifully done !
  15. Awesome looking '58 ! Your body mods and paint along with choice of parts really stand out , great work !
  16. I have two kits on order from Jeff since early spring and I'm not worried a bit . He fills orders on a first come first served basis and never cuts corners that would hurt the quality of his castings , so a longer wait time can happen . Take into account that the whole Covid thing is messing with everyone's lives and I'm not surprised that it's taking longer than usual . . . remember he's in Michigan . Be patient , it's worth the wait .
  17. Man that's sooooo nice ! Very very well done !!
  18. Beautifully done ! The bright colors really make it stand out from others I've seen , and the detailing is superb ! PM sent .
  19. Excellent looking roadster ! The white/gold interior goes perfectly with the dark red paint , great job !
  20. Great looking '31 Sedan and great job sourcing all of the parts needed to build a really sharp model !
  21. Thanks David ! Thanks Andy ! I don't think Jimmy Flintstone sells the anymore , bought mine at Monsters In Motion (see link above) . Thank you Dan !!
  22. Sharp looking Fairlane and I agree that the color and wheels are perfect for it ! Years ago I started taking photos of my builds just to see what I missed , then I would take finished photos for posting .
