  1. Thanks much Roger ! Yes there was some interference but not too bad , I ground down the top side of the chassis to get it to fit .
  2. Thanks guys !
  3. Love the colors on this , another beauty Jim !
  4. Beautiful AAR 'Cuda !
  5. Great custom work and paint !
  6. Thanks very much Steve ! I'll probably do something quick and easy next . . .
  7. Thanks ! Thank you ! Thanks , I agree !
  8. Thanks Lee ! The T-Bolt chassis has the correct wheelbase but is a bit too wide . I took 1/16 inch off both sides at the rocker panels and and ground a considerable amount off the rear wheel tubs and towards the rear of the chassis , after that it fit like a glove .
  9. Thanks guys !
  10. Original AMT '63 Fairlane kit using a Revell T-Bolt chassis , 289 HiPo engine from an AMT '67 Shelby GT-350 , wheels & tires from Revell '32 5-window , and miscellaneous bits and pieces from my parts bin or scratchbuilt . Paint is '63 Ford Glacier Blue from AutomotiveTouchup.com . All comments are welcome , thanks for looking !
  11. Great looking Fairlane ! So refreshing to see one that's not a T-Bolt .
  12. Very neat little kit , can't wait to see you work your Brizio Magic on it !
  13. The younger guys may not get it but all of us older members can appreciate the significance of this calendar .
  14. Over the weekend I did one final fit of the body-windshield-interior to the finished chassis before paint . As usual it took some trimming to get everything to fit .
  15. In the early 80's I worked at my brother-in-laws body shop and we built a '74 MK IV as a shop project , a Hot Rod Lincoln type of car . I just got this resin kit and am planning to build a scale version of it ! Also bought these two '66 Chevy Panel Vans 'cause they were priced really cheap , not sure what I'll do with them .
  16. Great reviews Robert , thanks for posting them ! BTW - the link to your website is broken .
  17. Excellent build of my favorite year Chevy , and in a rarely seen color to boot ! Great job !
  18. Very sharp looking and super clean build , really great work !
  19. Sharp looking Vette , the paint looks good to me ! I agree a little detail on those wheels would really set it off .
  20. Beautiful Cobra , great work !
  21. Over the weekend I finally finished the engine compartment for my '63 Fairlane . My bench time is down to only a couple hours a week so progress is painfully slow , almost a month just on this .
  22. JC they aren't that hard to make . I carved these out of a piece of balsa wood , applied a skim coat of polyester putty , sanded and primed them . Maybe a couple hours total .
  23. Really sharp looking T-Bolt , great job !
  24. Beautiful job , love the British Racing Green paint !
  25. Very sharp looking Cobra !! I agree that Mercedes color is really nice .
