'60 Impalas had the PS pump mounted very low and tucked in close on the drivers side of the block .

I'm not a Big Tub fan either that's why this one was last , but once it started coming together it kinda grew on me ! And thanks , the Little Drag is my favorite !

I love El Caminos (I've owned 6 of them) but not so much of the rusted out look everyone seems to be building these days . However I do admire the extra details and finished result you've achieved , great job !

This is the third in my series of 1/8th scale models from the 60's scaled down and accurately built in 1/24th scale , the Little Tub joins the Little Rod and Little Drag models that I finished earlier this year . The body and interior were made by grafting two "T" bodies and interiors together , while the top is several sections pieced together . The rest is mostly Little "T"/Ford T Street Rod parts . Paint is Model Master Hugger Orange with TS-13 Clear , the decals and box art were done by me on my computer . Thanks for lookin' ! And the finished trio of Monogram "Never Was" models .

I guess what's "rare" depends on who you ask , I have quite a few early Monogram kits that I would consider rare and I've built most of them . A couple are dated 1958-59 but this is the earliest one I've finished , it's dated 1962 .

I have several survivors from the late 60's but they're all in pieces , this is the only one I have that's still intact . An MPC Streaker Vette I built in 1977 . This photo was taken when I unboxed it for the first time 5 years ago .

Even with the scale difference it's still a great looking showroom ! Beautiful builds !
