  1. Thanks Larry, as per my previous post $55 is too expensive for me as a pensioner. Can I buy just one magazine please, as I've never seen one? Do you have an old digital one I can view please?
  2. Thanks Helmut. Yes the Williams and March failed and the Tyrrell was a winner. Yes Jody win and since retiring has a farm in the south of England.
  3. Thanks guys as an ex marshal at the Silverstone circuit this was one of the groundbrakers in 6 wheel technology, only Tyrrell had 4 wheels at the front. March and Williams had four wheels at the back but neither of the others raced, due to various power down transmission and grip problems!
  4. The front section with the four wheels/suspension and the rear radiator piping, kinks easily and needs shortening and warming up(hot water) when connecting to the radiators. I also had a problem getting the rear wheels to line up in a forward straight line, both wanted to be splayed out towards the front and tuck in at the back. Looking back in the early days of Tamiya F1 cars I preferred the 1/10th-1/12th scale, easier to build but now very expensive.
  5. It's been on the shelf for at least ten years, the near local store closed about 10 years ago. Without decals.. And with decals.. The typical Tamiya decals were perfect!
  6. I've just checked the Subscribe and only the USA shows as a country to ship to. OK I've just noticed the 'International' and clicked on it and the price has gone from $30 to $55, too much for me as a pensioner, shame.
  7. How much are these mags to me in the UK please?
  8. Yes that's a 2 CV Charleston version.
  9. Maserati Levante driving through town..
  10. Two more kits that never appeared in the UK, that we should have had, superb!
  11. No Daniel, I supported Foggy for years, being a race marshal at Silverstone over 20+ years. Chatting to the likes of Barry Sheene, Steve Parish etc in the day, plus both national and world superbike guys and the MotoGP guys as well. Great days!
  12. Thanks David, yes it brightens up modeling by modifying!
  13. It's a shame Tom that tolling on numerous kits has been destroyed, when we could enjoy them today.
  14. I like the T Bone Stake and the Patent Pending, kits we never got in the UK!
  15. I've started this today, it's been on the shelf for at least ten years. The company Modelzone went bust about then! They left a big shop unit empty for at least two years in a local shopping mall. The start of the engine is in front of the box.
  16. Thanks Larry. Just been watching the latest rounds of the World Superbike Championships from Misano in Italy, super racing, with all the latest versions of bikes from all of the manufacturers!
  17. Cheers Bruce, yes a great deal of fun, with a super kit!
  18. Bought as an 'already started' only the wheel stand though. Built box stock except the decals were trash other than the Ducati logo, the Dunlop front fork, the 'carbon' ones on the exhausts and the AGIP ones. The new number plates are white decal paper and the numbers come from my stash. And a new one for me attaching all of the plastic hollow tubing 'cables'!
  19. Wow what a super real one! thanks guys for your additions.
  20. Mine was delivered today, just two days after buying from Dave, sprue cutters included. I opened the box, plans, decals and three bags, the truck, the trailer and the buggy, superb!
  21. Just finished, had to wait for 2 bits to finish it, around the fairing. All suspension, steering works plus gear level is horizontal at neutral, down is 1st gear and up is 2 gear. This all works via the rear wheel 35 link chain, gearbox and pistons working in correct firing order.
  22. I started a Tamiya Ducati 888, whilst waiting for the LEGO spares for the other build up. Rear wheel assembly.. One of the exhausts that have three carbon fibre decals on each plus chrome pipes (Molotow pen) and a clear orange on top.
